  • Pastor Claude Stauffer: Setting the Table – Cultivating Gratitude
PASTOR CLAUDE STAUFFER Mary Danielsen welcomes back Pastor Claude Stauffer of Calvary Chapel of Hope in Amityville, NY.  Pastor Claude is one of the best expositors of the entire counsel of Scripture, looking at God's Word in a balanced and detailed lens to help the Christian grow in their faith and in their knowledge of their Saviour. Today we talk about "thanksgiving" - not in a head knowledge way, as a cliche, or a superficial way, but in the very lifestyle that is built upon a heart filled to overflowing with gratitude for what God has done for us. Being thankful is God's will for us - and it is a tremendous witness to a lost and dying world. We should be people of praise and filled with joy even during the darkest hours, because God is good above all (Psalm 107). We will look at Romans 1, where Paul makes a charge that part of the downgrade of mankind is because he lacks gratitude. What a powerful verse that is! We also address anxiety and the place of gratitude in counteracting the negative things we tend to dwell on. Thanksgiving is everyone's favorite holiday, so let's "set the table" of our walk with the Lord being people who are thankful above all.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Pastor Claude's bible commentaries are available here.     Shameless plug for swag for our listeners/donors! https://www.redpillprints.com/stand-up-for-the-truth - Thanks for YOUR Support!

  • Carl Teichrib: The Gospel of Babel
Mary welcomes back researcher and teacher Carl Teichrib, whose studies on transhumanism and transformation of what it means to be human are enlightening and extremely well thought out. Today we get a report on this year's Burning Man Transformational Festival. Lest anyone think it's merely Hippies 3.0, there is so much involved in the microcosm of life that takes place there each year. We will discuss the cooperative salvation/world spirituality that attendees are searching for, and look at the global aspects as well. Then we connect some dots with the Babel account in Genesis 11 and how it relates to the Burning Man mindset. The future is here, as ad execs proclaimed in the 1960s, which is profound on one level and nothing new at all on another, but as Solomon once said, "there is nothing new under the sun."  Regardless of the American election outcome, globalists are still scheming and cogitating on the future they themselves have always dreamt of. Carl's book, "Game of Gods", can be found here.     Shameless plug for swag for our listeners/donors! https://www.redpillprints.com/stand-up-for-the-truth - Thanks for YOUR Support!

  • Brady Blevins: Cult Classics – New Threats from Old Lies
Today we chat with Brady Blevins, Senior Apologist at Watchman Fellowship, an extensive apologetics and cult source that is indispensable for understanding and researching aberrant teachings both within Christendom and outside of it. Which one is more dangerous, within or without? Impossible to say in this age of heresy and apostasy. Today we look at ICC and its aggressive campus proselytizing. Who is Kip McKean? What is his background? How can parents of college students be more aware and prepare their kids for potential cult targeting? We also look at popular Asian cults such as World Mission Society Church of God and Shincheonji. Why do cults flourish in Asian societies to such a level, when one might think their governments would outlaw any expression of religion. As a believer of some duration, it is difficult to understand why anyone would go along with such obvious heresies, but humans being what they are, they are ever searching for a transcendent experience and the community experience to go along with that. A fascinating hour with Dr. Blevins.     Shameless plug for swag for our listeners/donors! https://www.redpillprints.com/stand-up-for-the-truth - Thanks for YOUR Support!

  • Replay – Holly Varnum: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made – The Human Brain
[Original airdate: 8/6/24] Mary chats with Holly Varnum of Reasons for Hope in her role as Director of Curriculum Development, writer, editor and proofreader. With a new school year looming, once again we turn our thoughts to how to best educate our kids, in the way that they should go - as individuals made in God's image, male and female. Holly has a love of teaching truth and having a strong biblical worldview. In these times of gender homogenization, what are the hard-wired differences in the brains of men and women? How does acknowledging and living out these differences bring glory to God? Holly has some fascinating insights into our God-given traits and physical characteristics that originate in the brain. In particular, we look at how we learn differently and to celebrate the differences, while the world tries its best to erase them. Thought provoking, mind altering topic!
