    God doesn't tempt - James 1; Romans 7&8 | daily bible verse

    04/08/2026 | 5 mins.
Today's daily bible verse - James 1:1-4 1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience (patient enduring). 4 But let patience (patient enduring) have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:12-15 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation (trails): for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man (and He himself tempters no one): 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust (sinful desires), and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Romans 7:23 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity (seek to lead captive) to the law of sin (old nature) which is in my members. Romans 8:5-9 5 For they that are after (in parallel motion with) the flesh do mind (set affection) the things of the flesh (old nature); but they that are after (in parallel with) the Spirit (new spiritual nature) the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded (minding of the flesh) is death (the state of death); but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind (minding of the flesh) is enmity against God: for it is not subject (does not submit itself) to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in (remaining within) the flesh (the old nature) cannot (are not able) please (to be pleasing or acceptable to) God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh (the old nature), but in (remaining within) the Spirit (new spiritual nature (Christ)), if so be that the Spirit of God dwell (inhabit) in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit (new spiritual nature) of Christ, he is none of his. Let this daily bible verse comfort and strengthen you today.

    There's a season for everything – Ecclesiastes 3:1-12 – daily bible verse

    30/07/2026 | 6 mins.
Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. I was reading this morning. I'm going to do something a little bit lighter. If you go to Ecclesiastes, chapter three, it's always good to know that there's a season for everything. And God chooses those seasons. God chooses those times.

God doesn't tempt – James 1 – daily bible verse

    29/07/2026 | 7 mins.
I was reading in James again and I'm going to go over pretty much exactly what I went over yesterday because it just is hitting right now. If you go to James, chapter one, verse one: James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greetings. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations, knowing this. And just so you know, temptations is actually the word trials or being tempted. And in a good sense it ascertains the character or your views or your feelings. It's to be put to the test.

Act out your faith – James 1 – daily bible verse

    28/07/2026 | 6 mins.
James, you always have to know who the word is written to. And this is written to the twelve tribes. If you go to James, chapter one, verse one, it says, James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James is literally about acting upon your belief, acting upon your faith. If you go to chapter two, verse eighteen, it says, a man may say, thou hast faith, and I have works. Show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. You got to act this stuff out. You got to believe God's going to take care of it, and you have to walk forward by your works.
