- According to the Zohar on Parashat Ki-Tevo, we are already in the midst of the period called "The End of Days." Our way to deal with the enormous pressures that are exerted on each of us, from all directions, is found here in the Parashah.

There are two sides to the vision of the Torah, the faith in the Creator of the universe who created humans in His image, and the knowledge that each of us has an evil inclination designed to enable us to fight for any true success. Only an uncompromising commitment to these two principles can put us on the path to success, as individuals and as a society.

The war is between the most materialistic civilization that has arisen on earth and the monotheistic spiritual consciousness of Moses. Whoever controls consciousness, controls society. The emptiness of the materialistic consciousness prevents the flow of true abundance, good fortune, satisfaction and fulfillment. How to achieve true fulfillment and a sense of luck and satisfaction - "Man shall not live by bread alone" (Parashat Ekev). When the channels of abundance are barren and dry, the Zohar claims that this is what brings wars and destruction to the world.
