This episode of LoveTalk Network is the first in a three-part series entitled "Awake, Alert, and Awestruck. Today, Kerri, Cathy, and Marlene discuss the need for Christians to AWAKE. Awake is a call to recognize how busyness, distraction, and the pursuit of temporary satisfaction can lull us into spiritual sleep, leaving us restless and empty without Jesus. Scripture urges us to wake up now, not later, because true life begins when we acknowledge our need for Him. God awakens His people in different ways—through crisis like the Prodigal Son, through dramatic intervention like Saul on the road to Damascus, or through gentle, personal conversation like Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman. Whether sudden or gradual, awakening always involves recognizing our brokenness, surrendering to Christ, and receiving the forgiveness, purpose, and new life that only He can provide.

The March 3 Texas Primary Election will determine party candidates for the November General Election, with early voting from February 17–27. LoveTalk Network emphasizes the importance of electing leaders who uphold Biblical values, defend families, and protect fundamental freedoms. As Christians, we must act as ambassadors for Christ by engaging in civic life and supporting candidates who defend life, oppose harmful ideologies in schools, and honor the U.S. Constitution -- while also recognizing that no candidate will be perfect. The program features Jeremy Story, a returning guest known for speaking against misconduct and constitutional violations within a local school board. Jeremy is now a candidate for Texas’s 10th Congressional District. This program implores believers to unite their voices, vote according to Biblical principles, and choose leaders of wisdom and integrity, as reflected in Deuteronomy 1:13 and Proverbs 29:2.

Co-hosts Cathy, Kerri, and Marlene interview Troy Miller, the CEO and President of National Religious Broadcasters (NRB). The annual NRB Convention will convene in Nashville later this month. Discussion topics included Troy's personal faith journey, NRB’s partnership with the White House to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary during the convention, the convention's highlights, and its impact upon Christian communicators.
