Episode 610: Mental Health & Faith: Anxiety, Depression, and the God Who Sees - Audio

    01/08/2026 | 55 mins.
Today we turn to a topic many still find difficult to discuss openly in the church: anxiety, depression, and mental health. Yet statistics are clear that society is struggling and people need help. Among Gen Z adults in the US, anxiety diagnoses have tripled in the past four years. One in four young adults now carry a formal anxiety diagnosis. In the UK, more than one in five young adults report a long standing mental health condition. Scripture is honest about human struggle. God cares deeply for those hurting and suffering. We are joined by licensed mental health professional, Glenn Lutjens with Focus On The Family. Glenn has stepped in to these deep waters to help individuals and families reach a place of peace, wholeness, and thriving across the past 30 years in practice. Coach Kerri and Cathy press into the hard questions to find answers and bring light, hope and help to those who need it. Join us for a life changing program.

    25/07/2026 | 55 mins.
Join Cathy, Kerri and Marlene as they engage in their newest series "Too Hot To Handle" addressing difficult topics and spurring conversations that need to take place around the dinner table, coffee table, and in Sunday Service. Today's program jumps into the deep waters of marriages that have lasted 20, 30, and 40 years only to suddenly face an unexpected end. Couples who have loved Jesus, raised families, and served in church for decades only to be destroyed by hidden pain, unresolved conflict, and personal brokenness. While we may not have all the answers, we know the One Who does. So we take a curious look at hidden pain and the hope we have when we engage loving, Biblical wisdom to the storms that threaten to tear marriages apart. In today's program there are no pointing fingers, just friends seeking understanding and hope in God's faithful love.

Episode 607: Comparison: Thief or Catalyst? - Audio

    12/07/2026 | 55 mins.
In this program, Cathy, Kerri, and Marlene introduce a new series entitled, "Too Hot to Handle." The Ladies of LoveTalk Network explore the concept of comparison, specifically those comparisons in which we measure ourselves against others. Isn't comparison damaging to our self-worth? Often, it is. However, comparisons can also be the foundation for growth or liberation. Kerri gives listeners a Godly guide so that comparisons don't steal your joy and peace. Join us as we learn how to use COMP to guide our growth and maintain our joy. C -- Caution: when comparison becomes a thief. O -- Opportunity: when comparison fuels growth and liberation. M -- Mastery: when you are able to focus on your own path with contentment. P -- Purpose: when turning it outward through gratitude and service. In other words, look for COMP when engaging in comparisons.

episode 606: The Fourth of July - America at 250 Years - Audio

    05/07/2026 | 55 mins.
The Fourth of July is the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. To celebrate America's Independence Day, Cathy, Kerri, and Marlene share the stories and reflections of 8 military veterans and 1 Army Sergeant still serving. Each soldier was asked, "Would you do it all again?" Their responses are both insightful and uplifting. The program also introduces listeners to a little-known American Patriot by the name of Haym Salomon. Salomon never fought in the Army, but he certainly gave all he had. His contributions equate to more than $15 million in 2025 dollars. The American Revolution and certainly General George Washington's Siege of Yorktown in 1781, which Salomon financed at $20,000 per Washington's request, would have been lost.
