  • My Style Struggles
One of my pet peeves is experts who appear to know it all and never struggle. And in our Instagram-filtered world, this is only getting worse. But guess what? Everyone has their off days! As a wardrobe stylist with over 20 years of experience, I believe in the power of sharing our challenges to inspire and empower others, to let you know that, if you're struggling with your wardrobe, you're not alone. Because of that, today I'm sharing my personal style struggles and the steps I'm taking to overcome them.  I share my own experiences with body changes and how I went back to basics to reassess what works for my current shape. I also talk about how I tackled my shoe situation to elevate my outfits. Awareness is the first step to making meaningful changes! I hope these takeaways resonate with you and encourage you to embrace your own style journey.  In This Episode: Experts, including wardrobe stylists, also face struggles and challenges - you're not alone! The importance of giving yourself grace when dealing with body changes, and to actively seek solutions rather than remaining stuck in frustration. Upgrading foundational garments, like underwear, can significantly improve how clothes fit and feel - it's worth the effort to find the right styles. Reassess your wardrobe and be mindful of how your body shape and style preferences may have changed over time. How to build a more satisfying and functional wardrobe by identifying the reasons behind your style struggles. Your wardrobe should be a source of joy and confidence. Remember, everything in style is "figureoutable", but it starts with identifying the root of your struggles and being willing to put in the work to find solutions.  Full show notes and resources: https://youreverydaystyle.com/my-style-struggles
