Marie-Louise is being an individual on her own in New York City! She says she misses Jeanie and Pauline but distracts herself back stage with actor Matthew Broderick who is in a play with a “Derry Girls” connection!
Only one of the Talking Derry Girls goes on a Road Trip this time. Marie-Louise heads to NYC, where she sees the American premier of David Ireland’s play “Ulster American” . David is a writer and actor who played Clare’s daddy Sean Devlin in “Derry Girls”. ML goes back stage to meet actors Matthew Broderick, Geraldine Hughes and Max Baker, and director Ciarán O’Reilly, at the Irish Repertory Theatre, off Broadway.
