Dr Abby Howells, PhD (whose doctoral thesis is fittingly 'Performing prison: How is life on the inside portrayed to the outside world?') joins Tim and Guy to praise Joker 2 for one reason only: "It is not as racist as prison movies typically are." Apart from this silver lining, there's a lot of critical clouds on the horizon of Folie à deux - a fact that will shock anyone who's listened to other episodes of this series. More importantly though - we get to know about Abby's portrayal as the Cowardly Lion and the history of the worst play of all time.

The Male Gayz’ Eli Matthewson and Chris Parker join Guy and Tim in the rats nest they have created in The Classic comedy club in central Auckland to enjoy Joker 2 again, having been incredibly disappointed by Folie à Deux when they saw it at the NZ premiere upon its initial release. Monty is steadfast in his belief that he simply will not be bossed around by this movie, and breaks down (with the detail and vocabulary of a decades-long sports commentator) the back and forth of the boiz' latest fight. Guyguy also puts up a spirited defence of Steve Coogan's performance within the context of the borderline impossible acting job he had to perform. And let us not forget the brilliant Catherine Keener.

Tim meanwhile wants to dig deep into the nature of comedy (again), clowns and what the movie was trying to do with all three of those things.
