The 2026 F1 season is OFFICIALLY underway, and the AusGP delivered a FANTASTIC start.

In this episode of Paddock 43, we break down an action-packed race at Albert Park that saw George Russell take victory and lead Mercedes to a stunning 1-2 finish ahead of rookie teammate Kimi Antonelli. From an intense opening battle with Charles Leclerc, to Virtual Safety Cars shaking up the strategy, Mercedes managed to pull off a bold one-stop strategy to secure the win.

We dive into Ferrari’s gamble, Max Verstappen’s recovery drive from P20, and the heartbreak for Oscar Piastri, who never even made it to the start of his home race.
