When the guard makes his attempt, Eight blasts energy from their palm toward the ceiling which causes chunks of debris to fall onto the guard. Though the guard is able to avoid most of the debris, Eight tries to shove him into the portal. When that fails, Raspy takes matters into his own hands and disposes of the guard.Raspy then makes Eight an offer. They can walk away with the traitor, and points to Trix, or they can have their friend, and raises the dagger. When Eight chooses Trix, Raspy aims the dagger in an attempt to throw it toward the portal. Trix realizes what is going on and takes quick aim with their bow, hitting Raspy in the shoulder and stopping him. The pair team up to destroy Raspy and then are able to enjoy a few moments of respite before putting a new plan into action. Meanwhile, Eight has spent the last four days chasing “Raspy” through the areas of the fortress that Trix has been kept out of. Finally fed up, Eight hears “Raspy’s” voice close by and tries to cast a portal to trap him, but it fails. A giant bug-like creature crawls from the portal - and unknown to Eight another portal opens up in Trix’s room. S6 E8: Death's Due
Trix dangles from the window ledge, nearly falling to their death, when they realize a patch of sky seems to be missing. The shadow moves and is revealed to be the dragon Faerlin warned the group about. She snatches Trix and carries them up to the roof of the stronghold. As she climbs, Trix tries to escape her grasp but there is a thin mucous substance that prevents them from getting good traction. Meanwhile, Raspy leads Eight from their cell, through the fortress and down to a “purification chamber” where four cultists stand on opposite walls. On a platform, in the center, lies the body of Rou. Eight is forced to come to terms with the reality of The Dragon’s words, and their anger is stirred. Before leaving Eight alone, Raspy removes Eight’s manacles, claiming the cultists did this to Rou. Once the door shuts, the cultists draw in closer.Lunahse has come to defend Rou from Death’s deal: give up your werewolf form and you can return to your friends. Rou at first is comforted, but quickly feels very small when the gods begin to argue over his soul. Lunahse offers Death a deal on Rou’s behalf, which Death seems keen to take. Rou agrees to the deal, and discovers that he is now Death’s servant in Rejiev.Follow Dax @gmdax, Kappa @TheKappaChris, Sebastian @sebastianyue and Wren @ThornyDryad

S6 E7: Dancing with Devils
Rou finds he’s running in the woods, a raven flying at his right side. Given that wolves and ravens have been allies in his experience, he follows the raven to a patch of woods. The raven, perched on a large rock, shifts into the form of a woman wearing a silver pendant in the shape of a raven’s head. Out of the shadows appears a form draped in black robes, face covered by an ivory mask. The woman leaves and, when he realizes he’s about to deal with Death itself, Rou begins bargaining for his return. Trix is given a bath and some of their wounds healed by the Emperor’s servants. While enjoying a hot meal in their private quarters, they’re visited by the Emperor. He asks Trix about their actions at the outpost, and whether or not they plan to be useful and truly cooperative. Trix tries to bargain for Rou and Eight but the Emperor is dismissive, and tells Trix that they have until dawn to decide if they’re going to take on the role he has in store for them, or pay the consequences for their choices like their uncle once did. When the Emperor leaves, Trix attempts to escape through the window. Eight awakens in their cell again, this time the manacles holding them are enchanted to prevent them from casting spells. As they ponder their situation, they are visited by the tattooed stranger who claims they have no name. Eight nicknames them “Raspy” because of their voice. As the conversation continues, Eight begins to realize that Raspy is no friend at all. Follow Dax @gmdax, Kappa @TheKappaChris, Sebastian @sebastianyue and Wren @ThornyDryad
