The Couch Potatoes

This week we'll tee up the return of the Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon, which debuts season 3 this weekend. We'll also tee up what's new at the movies, including Toy Story 5. THEY MADE ANOTHER ONE??? Yes they did, and by all accounts, it's fantastic! Jeff's got a review of the new Spielberg movie Disclosure Day, and I'll tell you about two spooky shows that are EXCELLENT... Widow's Bay, and The Boroughs. - Brett

This week we look at the new movies including Steven Spielberg's latest 'Disclosure Day', and have a chat about the amazing career he's had. Jeff will tell you about the Lifetime Achievement Award special for Eddie Murphy. And we discussed two new movie trailers which both fill Jeff with existential terror... a movie called 'Whalefall' about a guy getting swallowed by a giant whale, and another one called 'Fall 2: Deadpoint', about people stranded on a tiny perch on the side of a mountain roughly 5,000 feet off the ground! - Brett

This week we'll discuss the stunning results at the box office this past weekend and how exciting it could be for shaking up the status quo in Hollywood. We also look at what's new at the movies, including HE-MAN, the new Scary Movie, and yet another Internet trend making its way to the big screen. We also took a look at the new Nicolas Cage show on Prime, 'Spider-Noir', AND Jeff celebrates the legendary career of Clint Eastwood... who is retiring at the age of 96. - Brett

This week we take a few minutes to reflect upon a personal milestone! Also, Jeff's got a review of The Mandalorian and Grogu, while I finally got around to watching The Housemaid. Jeff checked out the new Jack Ryan movie on Prime, and I revisited the original Top Gun before it disappears from Netflix. IT IS SO CORNY. - Brett

This week we'll go through the finale for Survivor 50 AND WILL HAVE SPOILERS as we discuss what's been an excellent season. Jeff has a review of The Sheep Detectives (loved it). Star Wars is back on the big screen for the first time since 2019 with The Mandalorian & Grogu... MEH? And I'll go through the series finale for the superhero show The Boys, which left me with mixed emotions. - Brett
