The summer movie season is upon us, including a sequel 20 years in the making that's bound for glory! We also discussed the latest episode of Survivor which was NUTS, and I offered a quick review of the new Star Wars show MAUL: Shadow Lord. Jeff has reviews of Greenland 2, and the new Charlize Theron movie Apex. He also has some reviews of some penguin movies, and I've got a review of season 4 of the completely bonkers superhero cartoon INVINCIBLE. - Brett

UPDATE: I don't know why I thought this week was the end of the season for Maul Shadow Lord. There are two more episodes on MAY THE FOURTH. I thought I read it somewhere that it was finished but clearly I got my stuff mixed up. Final two episodes on Star Wars Day! - Brett

This week on The Couch Potatoes we have a treat for you, as we got to speak to former Survivor contestant Rob Cesternino! He competed in seasons 6 & 8, and is now a big-time podcaster and has a book coming out soon about Survivor. Also, we tee up this week's new movies, including Michael... which had such a bizarre thing happen during production. Jeff reviews two medical shows that wrapped up their seasons, and couldn't be more opposite. And Top Gun is coming back to theatres, and is coming back for a threequel! - Brett

This week we'll tell you about Lee Cronin's The Mummy, which new in theatres, and it looks CREEPY. We've also got some interesting news out of Middle-earth, we'll tell you about the new season of Full Swing, Jeff goes to the Blue Moon, he also celebrates 50 years of one of the best movies ever, while the moon inspired me to watch one of the other best movies ever! - Brett

One of my favourite shows of the last few years, The Boys, is back for its 5th and final season on Prime, and the first two episodes are EXCELLENT. Jeff had a review of what sounds like a terrific show, Young Sherlock. We had our weekly check-in on Survivor 50, Jeff's excited about another mid-level action movie with a mid-level star, and I had to go back and watch Detective Hole again, and LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT. - Brett
