Richard is a fully certified engineer, worked extensively on the Next Gen Ford Ranger program, has built some insane custom 4WDs, froths Mountain Bikes & Dirt Bikes, and has built a significant following for his custom builds on his YouTube channel - Designed & Built.

The boys describe their channel as 'Basically just a bunch of boys filming their afternoon in Australia' but it's turned into something a bit bigger than that. The boys have built a solid following in a very short time with their mix of 4WD touring, mechanical tutorials and information, and camping content.

Dave Parker spent 20 years in the Australian Defence Force's Special Operations Command (SOCOM) - involved in active combat around the world as a member of the elite 2nd Commando Regiment.

Following his military career, Dave pursued his love of the outdoors and founded PAST Outdoors - a business that started with Dave sewing together a TeePee at home, and which has subsequently evolved into a respected supplier of specialist high-end outdoors equipment for hikers, hunters and explorers.

Dave and Tony chat about Dave's transition from Special Forces to civilian life, the process of gaining new business skills and qualifications, the early origins of PAST Outdoors, and his deep passion for backpack hunting in the rugged alps of New Zealand.
