Is anger always a sin—or have we misunderstood what the Bible actually teaches?
In this episode of TLV Talk, Daniah Greenberg is joined by Rabbi Riccardo Giuliano to explore one of Scripture’s most challenging commands: “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Beginning with Cain’s response in Genesis and tracing the theme through the Psalms, the Gospels, and the writings of Paul, they examine the difference between anger that leads to destruction and anger that moves us toward righteousness.
Along the way, they discuss why God Himself is described as angry, how unresolved anger can grow into bitterness, and what it means to recalibrate our emotions rather than suppress them. The conversation offers a practical and biblical framework for recognizing, processing, and responding to anger in a way that reflects the character of God.
