🌑 Witch, Yes! Presents: The Dark! 🌑

Before the sun, before the stars, before the first god took a name, there was the Dark. It sat over a warm and endless water, hidden, as the old hymn says, by more darkness still. From that nothing everything came, and to something like it we return each night when we close our eyes and hand the whole world back. This week, baby witches, we're going into it.

Alicia and Terra follow the dark from the very beginning to your own bedroom ceiling: the primordial nothing the ancients all agreed came first, the night vision you inherited from a worm, and the ancient reason your brain still insists that rustle in the hall is a tiger. We get into why sleep has always rhymed with death, and why we've spent all of civilization chasing the light only to lose the Milky Way in the glare. Were you afraid of the dark as a child? Are you sure you still aren't?

So turn off a lamp. Draw the curtains. Sit in it long enough that it stops feeling empty and starts feeling like home, because it's about to get witchy as fuck. 🌌🔮🕯️

So you've caught feelings for a centaur. Understandable. He's seven feet tall, shirtless as a rule, and abbed beyond reason. Every horse girl who swore she'd grow out of it, this is where that goes. But before you bring your situationship home for the holidays, baby witches, we need to talk. About the ticks. The stink. The attitude. And the small matter of an entire mythological bloodline descended from men who simply could not keep it in their pants.

This week on Witch, Yes!, Alicia and Terra gallop through the wild, horny, tragic world of the centaur, from a Bronze Age misunderstanding to a bloodline born of one very cursed cloud (yes, cloud). But it's not all rowdy boys hauling off brides. There's also Chiron: the wounded healer who could cure anyone but himself, and whose story still lives in your birth chart.

Are centaurs monsters? Mentors? A warning about our own animal instincts? Or just misunderstood boys with good hair and bad impulse control? Saddle up, because it's about to get witchy as fuck. ✨🔮🐎

From Austin Osman Spare, a man who was literally named Spare, to Peter J. Carroll writing manifestos in a London occult zine, to the internet turning sigils into memes and memes into sigils... the chaos was always the point.

We're talking belief as a tool, gnosis as a practice, Supernatural (yes, that one), the difference between Chaos Magic and eclectic witchcraft, and why a chaos magician might pray to an ancient god on Monday and a fictional character on Wednesday and feel completely fine about it.

Oh, and Alicia is going to use it to get a new car. We'll keep you posted.
