The man, the myth, the legend...Cleetus McFarland is the latest guest on Kenny Conversation! Kenny and Cleetus dive headfirst into just about everything—from the controversial (yes, they’re talking about the decline of Mountain Dew) to the hilarious (Kenny’s performance in the Freedom 500 gets put under the microscope), and everything in between. This week on Herm & Schrader, Herm's back and we've got lots to catch up on.  Chicagoland Speedway is back too, with an explosive return over 4th of July weekend capped off by two great finishes. Will this be a one-off revival, or could Chicagoland make a return appearance to the schedule in 2027?  Toyota continued its domination of the Cup Series with Chase Briscoe's first win of the season - the fellas debate if Toyota's purported advantage is unfair and if NASCAR should rein them in. Will Brad Keselowski's pointed challenge to Ford and Chevy spark a turnaround for the manufacturers?

This week, Kenny Conversation features a pair of childhood friends reconnecting after a long time apart. Kenny Wallace and Terry Phillips grew up together at race tracks around Missouri, with Kenny learning from his brother Rusty, and Terry being under the tutelage of his father Larry. Now, both of their mentors are solidified in the NASCAR Hall of Fame, as Larry was finally elected this year after a long wait. But his son, Terry, also carved out his own racing legacy, becoming one of the best dirt racers of all-time and a Hall of Famer in his own right. This is a discussion about racing, from the Ozarks all the way to NASCAR.
