Pierre de Chanterac has been competing since 2019, winning the 2019 and 2021 Brewers Cup, the 2022 World Aeropress Championship, the 2023 Cezve/Ibrik Championship, and the 2025 CiGS. 

We sat down with Pierre at World of Coffee Dubai to discuss Ibrik coffee; one of the oldest and most widespread brewing methods in the world. While respecting the traditions, Pierre brings a modern approach to Ibrik brewing, focusing on extraction science and heat management.
