THREE STRAIGHT! THE WALLABIES CRUSH JAPAN & ‘MR 1000’ MASSIMO DE LUTIIS JOINS KOKO
18/08/2026 | 1h 8 mins.DADDY SWOOP IS HOME!
This week on The KOKO Show, we have a HUGE surprise for all our faithful KOKO-Nutters. You’ve been worried sick, you’ve been asking about his whereabouts and we can finally confirm that the great man has returned — DADDY SWOOP IS BACK ON THE COUCH!
With the DOGG back in the house, the boys get straight into the footy as it rained GOLD in Townsville, with the Wallabies putting Japan to the sword in an emphatic 56-17 victory.
The lads break down the tale of two halves up north, Les Kiss’ depth experiments and a dominant performance from the Aussie pack that had the forwards turning to the backs and saying, “Hey boys… HOLD OUR BEER!”
Plus, in a massive coup for the show, we welcome arguably the biggest and most beautiful debutant in Wallabies history — the ‘Millemium Man’ himself, MASSIMO DE LUTIIS!
Big Mass jumps into the hot seat to take us inside his dream Wallabies debut, reveal just how late the celebrations went after the match and he explains why his beautiful mother sends him off every week with FIVE ESKIES full of food. The big fella needs his fuel!
But ladies and gentlemen, that is certainly not all… In Other Rugby News, the boys unpack Michael Cheika’s homecoming to the Waratahs, we preview the Wallaroos’ massive showdown with the Black Ferns and finish things off with something a little sweeter as we taste-test Wallaroo Michaela Leonard’s baked goods from ‘Made by Mac’.
So sit back, relax, pour yourself a cuppa and grab your favourite biccy because this week on Kick Offs and Kick Ons, the boys are back together and we’re SPILLING SOME SERIOUS TEA!
It’s footy, food, Wallabies and a returning Daddy Swoop — what more could you bloody want?!

11/08/2026 | 1h 3 mins. The Wallabies are WINNERS in the Les Kiss era!
This week on The KOKO Show, the boys get stuck into the Wallabies’ nail-biting win over the Brave Blossoms in Osaka. In tough conditions — and playing a man down for a quarter of the match — the Wallabies held off Eddie Jones’ Japanese side to hand Les Kiss a BIG W in his first game as Wallabies coach.
But we’re not just talking Aussie rugby! The lads break down the Springboks’ close call against Los Pumas, we take a look at the All Blacks’ tussle with the Stormers and we hand out the Cape Mentelle Uncompromising Character of the Week Award to none other than Les Kiss after his dream start in the top job.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Kick Offs and Kick Ons without an A-GRADE guest…
This week we head across the ditch and welcome All Blacks legend and Rugby World Cup winner ISRAEL DAGG!
With Izzy in the house, the boys break down New Zealand’s chances against the Springboks in the Greatest Rivalry Series, find out just how bloody hard it is to learn the Haka and reminisce about the time Izzy Dagg helped bring Matt Giteau’s glistening Test career to an end.
Wallabies’ wins. All Blacks v Springboks. World Cup stories. Haka chat. Izzy Dagg taking the piss out of Gits. What more could you want?
So sit back, relax and bask in the glorious glow of a Wallabies victory because it’s time for an all-new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons!

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.- This week on the KOKO Show we are serving up a ploughman's platter of chunky chaps to bring in a new chapter of Australian Rugby under the one true hugger Mr Les Kiss. That is right! Up first, we were joined all the way from an onsen in Osaka by the man of the moment and hat-trick hero Mr Josh Chanam. With Joshy in tow the lads chat about all things Wallabies on tour, the feel of the team under Les and how the lads are preparing to demolish the Japanese on Saturday. Secondly, all the way from the chilly streets of Canberra one of the Wallabies’ wounded best Mr Tom Hooper joins the show to discuss his injury timeline, what it’s like playing footy in Exeter and who the hardest bastards are to play in World Rugby.
Plus, the boys share their own thoughts about the impending Les Kiss takeover of Australian Rugby and what they believe this great man has to offer the game at a national level. We also get stuck into a little Rugby Round Up Segment where we dissect the Waratahs’ close loss to the Blues in the Super W Playoff Final last weekend. Finally, the boys play a little game called ‘What Said That?’, where they try and guess which of their Wallabies coaches said some outlandish quotes over the years. So sit back, relax and lay a big ‘Kissy’ on a loved one. It is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons, Lesssssssssss Gooooooooooo!

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. - This week on the KOKO show we are joined by our favourite bodacious baddie, the king of the piggies and the loosest loose-head in the business Mr Angus Stephen Bell. With Belly riding up front the lads broke down how the Wallabies turned their international season around by folding the Italians like a couple of calzones. He also spoke on how the Wallabies farewelled Joe Schmidt in style and what this means for their confidence for the remainder of the year. Belly also talked about his time in Ulster pretending to be a number 10, how the Irish way of life is similar to Australia and how his time in the Emerald Isle has shaped his game for this international run. The boys also do a full Rugby Roundup Segment thanks to Active Ops, to put a juicy little bow on the midway point of the Nations Championship, plus the lads also preview the next big international fixtures that are coming up soon for the men in gold and we spend a little time to wax lyrical about Joe Schmidt’s time in charge of the Wallabies.
Plus, the lads hand hat-trick hero Josh Canham the Cape Mentelle ‘Uncompromising Character of the Week Award’ for his heroic efforts against the Italians, a performance so good that WADA had to drug test him at full-time. We also got stuck into a little reflection on the week that was in sport, with our fan favourite segment ‘How Good is Sport?’ brought to you by TCL. So sit back, relax and raise a glass to the great Joe Schmidt and Laurie Fisher for all they have done in Australian Rugby. With pride in our hearts and gratitude in our loins, it is now time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. Les GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. - This week on the KOKO Show we are joined by the ‘Golden Child’ of Australian Rugby, he is the man that made the frosted tip hip, a bloke that would shine with a magic jaw line, it is the one and only Mr James Rabs O’Connor. With James riding up front, the boys go deep inside the Wallabies’ dramatic loss to France at Suncorp, breaking down the issues surrounding the side and illuminating both the mental and physical shortcomings that are apparent on the field. Plus, with Active Ops providing us with up to date data we cover all the necessary stats from the weekend of International Rugby. The boys then move on to chat about James’ immediate playing future and how they believe his rugby IQ and IP would be invaluable for the Wallabies in the current climate. We also shed some light on the positives from the game with a little segment brought to you by Cape Mentelle Wineries called ‘The Uncompromising Character of the Week’, where we highlight the work of Tom Staniforth coming home to Australia but playing for France on home soil.
Finally, we close the show with another dose of ‘How Good is Sport’ brought to you by TCL and then we put Swoop back in the hot seat with a brand new look at ‘Swoop Will Sort It’. As the Wallabies’ hole gets a little deeper and Joe Schmidt’s tenure comes to an end, we call on all Australians to rally around the lads and get them over the line against the mozzarella massaging men of Italy. They need us right now! So sit back, relax and throw your frozen pizza in the oven. It is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.
