The Wallabies are WINNERS in the Les Kiss era!

This week on The KOKO Show, the boys get stuck into the Wallabies’ nail-biting win over the Brave Blossoms in Osaka. In tough conditions — and playing a man down for a quarter of the match — the Wallabies held off Eddie Jones’ Japanese side to hand Les Kiss a BIG W in his first game as Wallabies coach.

But we’re not just talking Aussie rugby! The lads break down the Springboks’ close call against Los Pumas, we take a look at the All Blacks’ tussle with the Stormers and we hand out the Cape Mentelle Uncompromising Character of the Week Award to none other than Les Kiss after his dream start in the top job.

Up first, we were joined all the way from an onsen in Osaka by the man of the moment and hat-trick hero Mr Josh Chanam. This week on the KOKO Show we are joined by the ‘Golden Child’ of Australian Rugby, he is the man that made the frosted tip hip, a bloke that would shine with a magic jaw line, it is the one and only Mr James Rabs O’Connor. With James riding up front, the boys go deep inside the Wallabies’ dramatic loss to France at Suncorp, breaking down the issues surrounding the side and illuminating both the mental and physical shortcomings that are apparent on the field. Plus, with Active Ops providing us with up to date data we cover all the necessary stats from the weekend of International Rugby. The boys then move on to chat about James’ immediate playing future and how they believe his rugby IQ and IP would be invaluable for the Wallabies in the current climate.
