A mysterious silence falls over Sunnydale, leaving the entire town unable to speak. As Buffy and the Scoobies investigate a series of gruesome murders connected to a group of eerie fairy tale creatures known as The Gentlemen, Buffy and Riley are forced to confront hidden parts of their lives neither has been ready to reveal. With the Gentlemen collecting hearts and the body count rising, the gang races to uncover how to stop creatures that can only be defeated by the very thing they've stolen.

This week, we're joined by new friend Kailah Peters (and her cat, Binx!) to discuss one of the most beloved episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Hear Courtney's reactions during her first-ever watch of "Hush" as we break down what makes this episode such a standout for both the fandom and ourselves, react to Buffy and Riley discovering each other's secrets, and laugh our way through all things Spike.
Kailah may have a slight crush on the Gentlemen, while the three of us spend plenty of time roasting their minions... lackeys... henchmen... adhd toddlers??? After Doyle receives a vision involving a group of hunted demon refugees, Angel Investigations gets pulled into a dangerous conflict with a ruthless enemy. As the team races to help the refugees escape, Doyle is forced to confront parts of himself and his past that he's spent years avoiding.

Two sad episodes in a row!? 😭
Join us this week as we discuss Doyle quite literally taking one for the team and why that sacrifice was such an important part of his arc. Hear Courtney’s thoughts on his death and departure from the series, along with our reflections on how having Doyle as part of the team helped shape both Cordelia and Angel along the way. How did you feel about Doyle's exit from the series? Did his sacrifice work for you emotionally, or do you wish we would've gotten more time with the character before his story came to an end? Were you disappointed that Doyle and Cordelia never really got the chance to explore where their relationship might have gone, especially after finally getting some honesty between them in this episode? And what do you make of the Scourge and the episode's larger themes? Do you see the story as a metaphor for prejudice and racism, or is there another reading of the episode that stands out to you?

Heartbroken over Oz’s departure, Willow turns to magic to ease her pain, but her spell goes wrong, causing her words to reshape reality. As her grief spirals out of control, the gang is left dealing with increasingly strange and unpredictable consequences.

Living for this episode’s coverage! From laughing at Giles’ clever remarks while blind to Buffy & Spike’s duel dynamic as they constantly snark at each other, we had a lot of fun with this one. Courtney shares her love for the chaos and the pure shock factor of our newly engaged Slayer and vampire couple. Hear our thoughts on Willow’s magic once again going wrong and the impact it has on the gang, D’Hoffryn’s return, and how Anya’s place in the show is really starting to click.

We've finally arrived at the most heartbreaking BANGEL episode in the Buffyverse.
Join our discussion and hear Courtney's reactions to Angel becoming human for a day, spending that day in bliss with Buffy, and finally getting a taste of the life they've both always wanted. Of course, it all goes to shit and our thoughts shift to the reasons why it can never be, how this adds yet another layer to Angel's endless suffering, and even theorize about what exactly the Oracles do in their downtime when people aren't showing up asking life-altering questions.
