Romancing the Dungeon

Clodagh, Trepp, Rova, and Kidana push onward through the bleak Ashen Expanse, their path leading to the quiet village of Sabel. Yet the one they seek, Aster, the elusive Dryad, has arrived before them, lured there by a haunting melody only he can hear. Whether the song promises revelation or ruin remains to be seen...

Clodagh and Trepp emerge from the portal into the Ashen Expanse; a barren wasteland that offers no trace of their missing teacher, Aster. As shifting paths pull strangers together, they cross fates with the enigmatic Dryad, Kidana, but introductions are cut short when a desperate cry pierces the darkness. The call leads them to Rova… and toward a new leg of their journey that may be far more dangerous than the wasteland itself..

Clodagh and Trepp step through the portal in search of Aster... Meanwhile in the Ashen Expanse, two strangers move with different goals. Rova, an ambitious treasure hunter, digs through ruins and half-buried legends in pursuit of fortune. Kidana, a wanderer, searches for supplies and rumors that might point them toward something more. They don’t know it yet, but the desert is already pulling their paths together, and before long their journeys will intersect with Clodagh’s in unexpected ways.
