Broden and Tom back in the country + Harriet Cordner! | The Footy with Marns
From a jaunt around Britain and Ireland return Broden and Tom, armed each with a veritable novella of culinary experience and a hankering for the good ship footy pod. It's great to have them back.
Marnie's penned a few great yarns this week. One is about footy fatigue and how it affects the attention fans can give the AFLW, which you can read about here. She also went for a dip in the Williamstown surf. We break down the why in excruciating detail.
Gun Blue Harriet Cordner guests on the pod to talk Carlton Respects. There's a very special game against the Giants coming this Sunday afternoon for the Blues, and you can, and should, read more about it here.

Mitch Brown and Lou Keck on the pod! | The Footy with Marns
In August of this year, Mitch Brown became the first AFL player to identify publicly as bisexual.
It was a significant moment in the game's history. We applaud Mitch for his bravery and the example he has set for countless people across the country.
Today, Mitch and his partner Lou Keck join Marnie Vinall and Hester Brown on The Footy, and you'll hear the voices of Aila and Ben Brown too as we weave our way through Mitch and Lou's experiences following Mitch's coming out, Pride Round, and Round 9 of the AFLW.
It's a lovely chat.
Get around Marnie, Hester, Mitch and Lou.

Welcome aboard Hester Brown! | The Footy with Marns
Seven home-and-away weeks down, five more to go - the AFLW season's going OFF and we're very lucky to have Hester Brown on board to help us break it down.
There's stacks on the show this week. Six-year-old podcasting extraordinaire Aila Brown comes out swinging with her Hot Take of the Week, and Broden and Tom provide a roving report from the Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Chappell Roan played there once.
With feeling folks, no matter what the Big House says: BOUNCE. THAT. PILL.
Get around Hester here.

The Lions win the Grand Final again | Grand Final Wrap-Up
It was an excellent Grand Final. Scores were level at half time. Through a fair part of the third quarter, things were close and tense.
And then the Lions took the game away, took the season away, and will take the premiership cup back to Brisbane for a second consecutive year.
This episode of The Footy is brought to you by the TAC - “Stop Kidding Yourself – If you drink, don’t drive. A message from the TAC”

The Footy with Broden Kelly is a weekly podcast presented by Aunty Donna’s coolest, most salt of the earth member, Broden Kelly. This is a weekly show that covers footy, the weird topics happening around the footy, and stranger, stupider, more pointless points of discussion in the footy world. With absolutely zero footy talent and even less expertise, Kelly and his mate Tom chat about the weekly happenings of footy from outside the inner sanctum. With regular guests from the comedy world, this pod aims to be a home for the alternative footy fan.
