Adam is an outstanding coach that specializes in junior player development and with the recent rise of his star student, Michael Brennan and his last weeks win at the Wyndahm Championship I had to have him back on to take us through the evolution of his coaching with Michael as he has worked with him since he was 12 years old and now a 2 time PGA tour winner. This is an awesome conversation where we do a deep dive into their relationshhip that has grown over the years, the team that he has put around him with Jason Meisch his trainer which was on the pod a few months ago so go check that one out to his putting coach Marcus Potter and much more. Jason is a performance coach, a 3D and bimechanics expert that is the co-owner of The Peak Golf Institute in Rockville, Maryland. He earned his BS in Athletic Training from Saginaw Valley State University and continued his studies toward his MS in Exercises Physiology at Western Illinois UniversityJason has 15+ years’ experience performing physical screenings and movement assessments, 3D motion assessments, program design, and an additional 5 years’ experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation of athletes, specializing in rotational sports.Jason is a 3D movement consultant providing 3D hitting and pitching evaluation services to 7 different MLB organizations as well as swing/physical evaluations for multiple Golf Magazine/Digest Top 100 Instructors and many other instructors worldwide.  In addition to consulting, he serves as a K-Vest Advisory Board Member and was an integral part in developing and leading the certification/education seminars for K-Vest. The certifications are responsible for teaching the analysis and live correction of golf related issues included identifying possible cause of injury during the swing to other instructors in the field.Jason has consulted and trained players of all ability levels as well as numerous players on every level of professional golf and all levels of baseball.  He also runs a Junior Performance Academy that has helped many of its students earn Division I scholarshipsOther than golf, Jason played baseball, basketball and ice hockey.  He also bowled in college at SVSU and WIU, where in 2004 they made it to the Final Four of the Intercollegiate Bowling Championships. Jason works with numerous Tour players incuding Michael Brennan, an up and coming star on the PGA tour which we go in depth about during this conversation. Jason is not only one of the brightest people in our business but also one of the nicest guys as you will find that he truly cares about his players and works well and supports other swing coaches. A little bit about Joe Joe Plecker is the director of instruction at The Landings in Savannah , Ga. and a PGA Master Golf Professional in Teaching & Coaching and He is a GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 teacher . Joe is the 2024 Georgia PGA Teacher of the Year. He is also a member of the PGA’s National Education Adjunct Faculty and helps Associates with their teaching content for all levels leading to membership. He is one of fhe the Head of Ambassadors for Swing Catalyst, He plays an active role in Swing Catalyst Education both online and in person at certification events.In this conversation we talk about the mentorship of his father, Coleman Plecker, who is one of the PGA’s first Master Professionals. He was fortunate to have spent many years learning about teaching as a student of Bill “Coach” Strausbaugh, Jr. at Columbia Country Club in Maryland, near his father’s club, Manor Country Club in Rockville. I appreciate Joes honesty, transparency about his life and high integrity as he shares his journey as well as his willing to help others through some incredible life lessons that he has learned along the way.
