  In this episode Caroline and Jack have the evidence of one of the defendants in the case. Michael Jones told the jury he was not carrying out reconnaissance missions at Blenheim Palace in the days before the theft of the solid gold toilet. He said he was visiting the exhibitions because he found the art intriguing. We also heard that the artist who created the loo was behind a piece of art which featured a banana duck-taped to a wall. • Episode 2: The Footage

  In today's episode of the Trial of the Golden Toilet Caroline and Jack have the CCTV footage which shows the moment the heist takes place on Blenheim Palace. In dramatic footage a gang armed with sledgehammers and crowbars can be seen driving up to the main entrance and breaking in. Less than 6 minutes later they can be seen rolling the toilet away before dumping it into a car and speeding away. • Episode 1: The Heist

  In the first episode of The Trial of the Golden Toilet Caroline and Jack hear the prosecution’s case against three men. One of them is accused of being involved in a heist on Blenheim Palace and stealing a 4.8m solid gold toilet. The other two are accused of helping to sell off the gold. The jury have heard how five men broke into Blenheim Palace in two cars, armed with sledgehammers in 2019. Within 5 minutes they had snatched the toilet and driven away.
