Bonus Episode: Paranormia - A podcast I think you should listen to....

    12/04/2026 | 29 mins.
Paranormia is a new podcast from the Always True Crime Network, where true crime collides with the supernatural, the psychological, and the macabre.

Last week, I interviewed the host Elizabeth McCafferty and writer/producer Mansi Vithlani for my exclusive monthly podcast for amazon music (link below). After the interview I listened to all the available episodes of Paranormia - I loved it - so wanted to share an episode with you.

This episode is all about the Heaven’s Gate Cult - take a listen and let me know your thoughts.

*** I have not been paid to promote this podcast ***

I release episodes of the UK True Crime Podcast every Tuesday and Friday, so please do join me for the next episode - number 500 - on Tuesday.

The story this week returns to Paisley, near Glasgow. It had been a great day for Laura Connelly as she caught up with some old school friends she hadn't see for a while at the bar, and at approaching 2am, she left to walk the mile or so to her home. But tragically, Laura didn't ever come home as she was attacked and murdered almost in sight of her home.

In this episode of the UK true Crime Podcast I look at just what happened to Laura and follow the police investigation to find her killer.

    06/04/2026 | 25 mins.
The story today comes from Swansea and looks at the case of Brian Whitelock, a man who was sent to prison for murder and manslaughter. Despite the appeals against his release from the families of his victims who feared he wasn't safe to be in the community, Whitelock was released from prison back to live in Swansea. Within a year of his release, Whitelock had killed again.

Revisited - Murder At A Remote Farmhouse

    04/04/2026 | 23 mins.
Cornwall isn't the sort of place you associate with large scale drug imports from South America, IRA terrorists and murder. But in this episode of the UK True Crime podcast, we hear a story that involved all of these things. When detectives quizzed local farmer Ross Stone about cannabis being grown on his farm, they could never expected that he would reveal that two missing men - Brett Flournoy & David Griffiths were also buried there. But was he responsible for the killings?

Back in January 2024, I covered this story, but today I have just heard that one of the key people in the story was found dead in their prison cell last month. In light of this latest development, I’ve decided to re-release this episode today.
