正文：One blockade was bad enough. Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz has pushed up prices for oil, natural gas and fertiliser, among other commodities. On April 13th America initiated a blockade of its own, halting the few vessels Iran had been letting past, which will presumably compound the problem.

正文： Plates clanged, glasses clinked, and at the front of the room sat POTUS,making his long-awaited return to the White House Correspondents' Association dinner on Saturday. Then loud popping sounds were heard from the lobby. “I thought it was a tray going down,” POTUS would say later.

In the first three months of 2026,China's exports of transistors jumped by 26% in dollar terms compared with the same period of 2025.
