From First to Last... Then Last to First

    02/06/2026 | 1h 11 mins.
Fresh off his Nashville victory, Denny Hamlin is back on Actions Detrimental to break down one of the wildest weekends of the season.

The biggest story? A bet between The Denny Bros and the No. 45 team that escalated far beyond its original low-stakes beginnings. What started as friendly trash talk turned into a full-blown competition, with the stakes getting higher throughout the weekend and bragging rights hanging in the balance.

Denny also walks through his race-winning performance, from fighting through the field with a car that wasn't built for dirty air to executing the late-race restarts that put him in position to battle for the win. He explains what he was thinking during the closing laps, why he felt confident on the bottom groove, and how everything came together at the right time to deliver one of the most unlikely and rewarding victories of his career.

The conversation also covers the decision to stay out on old tires, Nashville's unique racing characteristics, tire strategy, brake issues throughout the field, standout performances from across the garage, Ross Chastain's playoff outlook, Corey Heim's promotion to a full-time Cup ride with 23XI Racing, and what lies ahead as the series heads to Michigan.

    Denny Was Right There… Again

    25/05/2026 | 53 mins.
Denny Hamlin reacts to a chaotic, rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600 weekend after another win slips away from the No. 11 team. From restart battles and losing clean air to pit road frustration and perfectly timed cautions, Denny breaks down exactly why Charlotte felt like another missed opportunity. He also shares his frustration over late-race circumstances, joking about the “poor lifelong Denny Hamlin fans” while explaining how close they were to finally closing one out.

The crew also takes a moment to reflect on the heartbreaking loss of Kyle Busch, with Denny sharing memories from their longtime relationship as teammates and competitors and discussing the impact Kyle had on NASCAR and the garage as a whole.

Later, Denny explains why NASCAR racing at intermediate tracks has improved so much recently, from tire wear to cleaner grooves and late-race comers and goers. The guys also break down Toyota’s strength at Charlotte, Daniel Suarez’s momentum-building win, NASCAR’s handling of the weather delays, and why Denny still believes the No. 11 team has championship-winning speed despite the recent finishes.

    Dover Delivered, All-Star Format Missed

    18/05/2026 | 52 mins.
Denny Hamlin gets his second win of the season…only this one doesn’t actually count since it was the All-Star Race. Denny won the pole after spinning out before his qualifying lap even counted. Like most of the weekend, qualifying was a tad confusing. On Sunday, there was immediate carnage only adding to the confusion. The drivers who paid the biggest price were those locked in to the All-Star race like Chase Elliott, who technically didn’t race in the All-Star race. Plus, Denny has a new location suggestion for the All-Star race next year

Thanks to Goodyear there was plenty of tire wear. Plus, low downforce and added horsepower had lots of drivers having control issues.

On the track, Denny and the 11 team had the best car. The one area where Denny continued to struggle was restarts. He explains what’s going on and why he is determined to figure it out.

On Saturday, Corey Day made a statement and the rumors about his future are flying around. The guys get into whether or not he is ready for Cup racing.

    Denny Tried To Warn Everyone

    11/05/2026 | 52 mins.
Fuel saving, cut line conversations, and Shane van Gisbergen putting on another road course masterclass. This week on Action Detrimental, the guys break down Ross Chastain running out of gas late, why Watkins Glen was still a solid points day, and how frustrating it can be to save fuel instead of driving all out. Plus, they dive into NASCAR’s road course coverage issues and why fans at home are missing too much of the action during some of the biggest moments of the race.

They also debate whether a road course belongs in the playoffs, if anyone can eventually challenge SVG on these tracks, and why Connor Zilisch might be the next guy up. Add in the Ryan Preece penalty controversy, Kaden Honeycutt’s first Truck Series win, and a look ahead to All-Star Weekend, and there is plenty to unpack in this one. Let us know in the comments if you think NASCAR should keep a road course in the playoffs!

Should There Be a Penalty… Or Is Public Opinion Enough?

    04/05/2026 | 1h 1 mins.
Chase Elliott gets the win, but Denny Hamlin was right there with him. What looked like a simple P2 on paper was anything but, as Texas turned into a full-on track position battle where one restart could make or break your day. Denny breaks down how it slipped away. From getting buried in traffic to timing that final restart just about as perfectly as possible… and still coming up short. Was staying out the right call? Why did passing become nearly impossible late? And how close he actually was to clearing the 9 for the lead.

Then it’s everything else from a chaotic Texas weekend. Strategy gambles, pit road madness, and plenty for Actions Detrimental to sort through. Denny weighs in on the Kyle Busch situation, Preece vs. Gibbs, and the restarts that had everyone on edge. Plus, strong runs from Bowman, Bubba charging back through the field, and Spire showing real speed. We also dive into the points picture, where Tyler Reddick is in a league of his own, and what it’ll take for SVG to make a push. A runner-up finish, a lot of what-ifs, and a race that was one move away from a very different ending.
