National Say It Now Day gives us a chance to pause and reflect on what people mean to us. We encourage people everywhere to take a moment to tell their friends and loved ones how much they mean to them while they are still around to hear it. It's more than saying "thank you." It's letting someone know specific examples of how they've impacted your life....you might even be surprised by how much it will boost your self esteem and mindset.

Today is an ode to the idiosyncrasies of our childhood and how the stuff that now seems stupid to us was once something we guarded with our lives. With Christmas coming up and Hanukkah already here: we'll gift our kids with toys that they will laugh about decades from now.

Tea is the most popular beverage in the world. The origins of tea have been traced back to China over 4,000 years ago and was mostly used for medicinal purposes until the16th century, where tea made its way across the globe to Europe by Dutch traders, where it became a widely traded commodity. The main types include black, green, white, herbal, and oolong and tea is loaded with antioxident benefits.  Doesn't a nice hot cup of tea sound great in the middle of December?

We find comfort in music and often use it to express our emotions. Whether in joy or sadness, music has been our constant companion. Choral music...is energetic and uplifting. In 3500 bc...The Mesopotamians create the first notes of music and by the 9th century churches began offering prayers through songs. Today, especially during the holidays, you can find choral performances at churches, schools, malls, and even carolers.

As the power of our phones increased with processing chips, internet connectivity, and touchscreens, so did the apps that became available. Apps continue changing how we work, live, and play. They offer opportunities, too, by creating thousands of new companies, millions of new jobs, and billions of dollars in revenue. In 2008 there were only 500 apps...today there are over 3 million and counting. Ever wondered how apps are made? Spend some time exploring the basics of app development.
