A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett: Full Spoiler Review

    03/06/2026 | 39 mins.
DDDSpod is back on the outskirts of a freaky biopunk fantasy empire with their favorite detectives Ana and Din as they discuss A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett. When a treasury envoy from the empire to the Kingdom of Yarrow goes missing, Ana and Din find themselves going head to head with a serial killer, and uncovering some of the Empire's most carefully hidden secrets. It's twisty, turny, and they loved it.

But first... William and Jacob run into each other in a darkroo...er, both share their feelings about the hit horror film Backrooms.

The Last Contract of Isako by Fonda Lee: Full Spoiler Discussion

    28/05/2026 | 50 mins.
William and Jacob are back after a brief break to discuss Fonda Lee's The Last Contract of Isako. Isthmus Isako is a corporate samurai on the brutal planet Aquilo, where your next pink slip could mean your head is literally on the chopping block. There are a lot of typical sci-fi things happening here, and it's a well-paced and well-written novel but...it doesn't quite work for your hosts, and they're not sure why. But they get the giggles trying to figure it out.

Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke: Full Spoiler Discussion

    07/05/2026 | 1h 13 mins.
It’s time for a big departure on DRAGONS DADDIES DEEP SPACE as your hosts are diving deep into Caro Claire Burke’s brilliant new novel Yesteryear, which is admittedly…not really sci-fi or fantasy, but is legitimately an incredible read. Natalie Heller Mills is the plastered-on smile behind a popular tradwife Instagram account whose perfect facade is beginning to crumble, especially when she wakes up in the 1850s. It’s thorny, it’s funny, it’s incredibly dark, surprisingly moving, and sharply written.

The Faith of Beasts by James S.A. Corey: Full Spoiler Review

    30/04/2026 | 50 mins.
It's DDDSpod's second and final episode about The Faith of Beasts by James S.A. Corey. After an exciting and promising beginning, the disparate humans of Anjin come back together and the results are...anticlimactic. Your hosts are let down, but they're still dying to know what will happen in the final installment of The Captive's War trilogy.

But first, William obtains a poultice from a hedge witch, Jacob enjoys Apex on Netflix, and both hosts discuss the announcement of The Sixth Faction by Veronica Roth.

The Faith of Beasts by James S.A. Corey–Parts 1 and 2

    23/04/2026 | 1h 1 mins.
DDDSpod is back covering book two of James S.A. Corey's Captives War trilogy as Jacob and William discuss parts one and two of The Faith of Beasts. Dafyd is trying his best to hold it together as he's now the leader of the human moiety at the Carryx World Palace, and Jessyn makes an unexpected discovery while hoping to not run out of her antipscyhotic decoction. Your hosts couldn't be more thrilled to be back in this world, and the pages are breezing by like stars in asymmetrical space.

But first...It's a huge week for the pod as William and Jacob experience their first online hate. They couldn't love their antagonist more, and they hope he continues to waste his time listening to them! All that plus impressions of the new hit movie Mother Mary and the video game PRAGMATA.
