    19/07/2026 | 47 mins.
Tony brings more than thirty years of experience to a thoughtful conversation about what makes homeopathy both enduring and effective. Drawing from his own journey into the profession, he reflects on the mentors, historical moments, and educational developments that shaped homeopathy in the UK while making the case for keeping its core principles simple and accessible. We also explore different prescribing approaches, the role of awareness in healing, and why understanding the character of each remedy matters more than getting lost in complicated theories. Tony closes by sharing the materia medica resources he values most and encouraging practitioners to build a strong foundation in the essentials of homeopathy.

    02:13 - Tony's Early Influences and Experiences
10:02 - The State of Homeopathy in the 70s
14:16 - The Influence of George Vithoulkas

After travelling to India, Tony returned to teach yoga before beginning his homeopathic practice in 1982. He later studied Transpersonal Psychotherapy with Ian Gordon Brown and, in the mid-’80s, was among the group of students who studied under George Vithoulkas, the world-renowned Greek teacher and practitioner.

Tony is known for bringing the Materia Medica to life, weaving his extensive clinical experience into his teaching. He continues to lecture at colleges and conferences worldwide.

Throwback Thursday Ep 186: Guerilla Prescribing - with Rebecca Sturgeon

    15/07/2026 | 34 mins.
In this episode, Rebecca will be discussing Guerilla prescribing, highlighting how it has been an immense support for most of her patients, particularly those living in extreme poverty in unimaginable situations.

    About My Guest:

Rebecca Sturgeon is a homeopath and volunteer from the UK. She studied part-time at the London College of Practical Homeopathy from 1994 to 1998 and has been volunteering in South Africa for the past 18 years, working in townships, schools, horse sanctuaries, elderly homes, autistic schools, and emergency situations. For the past five years, she has also been teaching homeopathy to African bishops and pastors alongside Dr. Elvia Bury. Sturgeon's introduction to homeopathy came after a car accident, when she was prescribed anti-inflammatories and neck support. She discovered a book on homeopathy, and her experience with it inspired her to pursue her studies in the field. After graduating from LCPH, Sturgeon moved with her family to South Africa, where she initially struggled to establish a private practice. However, she began volunteering her services at a township clinic, where she saw a wide range of patients with various conditions and quickly built up a reputation for her compassionate and effective care. Despite the challenges she faced, Sturgeon remained dedicated to her work and continues to advocate for the use of homeopathy as an effective means of healthcare.

    Episode Highlights:

02:23 - How Rebecca first discovered homeopathy

04:48 - Guerilla prescribing in the township

07:40 - Understanding the beliefs and cultural practices of the people

09:42 - Typical illnesses that are being treated

    17:42 - Elvia’s homeopathic story

23:33 - Remedies for snake bites

27:23 - How homeopathy brought hope and healing to a pregnant woman after a bushfire tragedy

29:43 - The importance of giving away your knowledge

Throwback Thursday Ep 185: A Homeopathic Approach to Trauma - with Elizabeth Adalian

    08/07/2026 | 32 mins.
In today’s episode, we have the opportunity to speak with Elizabeth, who discusses her book "Touching Base With Trauma". She recounts her realization while taking a patient's case history that the patient's suffering was not solely due to their experiences during the war but rather the impact of their early childhood and infancy years. We also explore how to integrate this idea into homeopathic practice, where the individual's timeline can be utilized to identify the primary influences on the case, which are deeply rooted in earlier life experiences.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:53 - How did Elizabeth first get into homeopathy

04:25 - What inspired Elizabeth to write a book

08:26 - How can transgenerational trauma be identified in a consultation

11:41 - How do you incorporate epigenetics into prescribing decisions

14:46 - Incorporating knowledge of the microbiome into homeopathic practice

16:54 - Approaches to trauma treatment that are favored in the clinic's practice

22:06 - The global reach and a diverse patient base of homeopathy

26:40 - Can homeopathy help individuals move past a traumatizing event

28:26 - Understanding homeopathy beyond the treatment of physical ailments

    About My Guest:

Elizabeth Adalian MCH is a professional homeopath and author who offers seminars, lectures, and supervision to her patients. Her work focuses on the concept of trauma and its impact on individuals, particularly during the pandemic and the current global challenges, such as the Ukrainian war and climate change. Elizabeth believes that homeopathy can effectively support individuals to build resilience and heal the epigenetic load they carry from childhood and current pressures. She uses an individual's timeline to target the primal influences on the case and understands the evolution of materia medica to provide a distinctive early contributing factor to the patterns of the individual. Elizabeth's approach to homeopathy is transformative and not only benefits the patient's health but also their potential for growth. She offers mentoring in this approach to both homeopaths and students of homeopathy.

Ep 466: Busting the Biggest Myths in Homeopathy - with Dion Tabrett and Mike Bridger

    05/07/2026 | 56 mins.
With Eugenie taking a well-deserved break, Marcus Fernandez is joined by Dion Tabrett and Mike Bridger for an open discussion on some of the most common myths and misconceptions in homeopathy. Drawing on their clinical experience, they explore topics such as antidoting remedies with coffee or menthol, the use of single versus multiple remedies, and why potency selection is often about fine-tuning rather than strength. The conversation highlights the highly individual nature of homeopathic treatment and challenges many of the rigid rules that have persisted over the years. They also reflect on aggravations, the importance of practitioner experience in complex cases, and their perspectives on machine-made and pharmacy-made remedies.

    05:50 - Individuality in Homeopathy
    09:09 - What Are Your Remedy No-Nos?

    27:41 - One Remedy at a Time?
30:44 - Not Every Case Is One Remedy
    33:46 - Potency Considerations
35:59 - Potency Is Fine Tuning
39:19 - The Flexibility of LM Prescribing
    41:53 - All She Had Was 6C
    44:13 - Beyond Allopathic Thinking
