About my Guests:
Dr. Leonardo Faedo is a Brazilian agronomist, sociologist, and research scientist specializing in agroecology, sustainable agriculture, and environmental practices. He holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies in Agroecology, Water and Resilience from Coventry University in the United Kingdom, and a PhD in Plant Sciences from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) in Brazil. He also holds a master’s degree in Plant Sciences from UDESC and an MBA in Agribusiness from the Federal University of Paraná. Since 2013, he has been involved in agricultural research, farmer training, education, extension services, and consulting across South America and Europe.

Faedo works at Coventry University’s Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience, where his research explores agroecological farming innovations, environmental practices, biodiversity, and the relationship between agriculture and society. His work includes investigating homeopathy and other agricultural preparations, particularly their potential applications in crop production and sustainable farming systems. His research has included studies on strawberry cultivation, and he contributes to broader efforts to understand how scientific research and farmers’ practical knowledge can inform more sustainable approaches to agriculture.

About My Guest:

Dr. Richard Moskowitz - B.A. from Harvard, M.D. from New York University, and Graduate Fellowship in Philosophy at the University of Colorado. He's practiced general family medicine since 1967. He has practiced homeopathic medicine since 1974, studying with George Vithoulkas, Rajan Sankaran, and others. In addition to lecturing and teaching, he has authored Homeopathic Medicines for Pregnancy and Childbirth and Resonance: The Homeopathic Point of View. His other writings include Plain Doctoring, An Introduction to Homeopathy, The Case Against Immunizations, The Fundamentalist Controversy, Vaccination: a Sacrament of Modern Medicine, Childhood Ear Infections, and Why I Became a Homeopath.

About my Guests:
Ann Manning graduated from Monash University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours), majoring in Psychology. After working in theatre and exploring spiritual practices, including living in ashrams in India, America, and Australia, she later discovered homeopathy through her daughter’s recurring ear infections. This experience inspired her to study homeopathy at the Sydney College of Homeopathic Medicine. She graduated and began practising in 2002, later teaching a range of homeopathic subjects and supervising clinical practice at Endeavour College.

Alongside her homeopathy work, Ann continued her meditation practice and served as a meditation teacher. In 2018, she discovered Mindful Self-Compassion, a practice that deeply resonated with her, leading her to complete the teacher training and begin teaching courses based on the program. She now teaches Mindful Self-Compassion and offers more intensive one-on-one training through Unravelling Unworthiness, which draws on self-compassion and related practices to help people develop a kinder relationship with themselves.

Dr. Paul Herscu is a renowned homeopathy practitioner and educator with a passion for making the study and practice of homeopathy more logical and predictable. With over three decades of teaching experience, he has gained international recognition for his dynamic teaching style and ability to synthesize information from various disciplines. Dr. Herscu holds a degree from Portland State University and is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is board-certified in homeopathy and runs a successful private practice, Naturopathic Health Care, in Enfield, Connecticut. Dr. Herscu has authored several influential books, including The Homeopathic Treatment of Children and Stramonium, and has a special interest in working with children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurological conditions. He is the founder of the Herscu Letter and the New England Journal of Homeopathy, and he actively engages in research on biology, drug development, and public health initiatives. When not immersed in the world of natural medicine, Dr. Herscu enjoys spending time with his family, indulging in music, and exploring the wonders of nature.

Sandra Venables (MPH, Grad Cert Ed (Higher Ed), BHSc) has been in clinical practice for 20 years, in Australia. Currently the Executive Assistant for the Australian Register of Homoeopaths (www.aroh.com.au). An educator, previously homeopathy and critical research skills, currently in the field of aromatherapy (Aromatherapy Today Collective, www.aromatherapytoday.shop), thoughtfully combining both homeopathy and aromatherapy in practice. Obtained a Masters in Public Health (Global Nutrition and Active Living), to support both clinical work and her desire to undertake research while developing knowledge in global health. More recent work has involved participating in a team with The Aurum Project developing and undertaking the research project Homeopathy Workforce Survey (HWFS), www.aroh.com.au/workforcesurvey and Homeopathy Student to Practitioner Study (H-STEP).

Barbara Roberts is a Registered Classical Homeopath and Integrative Pharmacist based in Kerikeri, New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours (BPharm (Hons)) and a Diploma in Homeopathy (DipHom), graduating from the College of Natural Health and Homeopathy in 2015. She has worked in community pharmacy and has been registered with the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths since 2019. Barbara provides online consultations throughout New Zealand and internationally, as well as in-person consultations in Northland. She continues to develop her knowledge of homeopathy and conventional medicine, is qualified in Homeobotanicals, is undertaking a fellowship in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, and is pursuing further studies at the Dynamis School for Advanced Homoeopathic Studies.

Homeopathy Student to Practitioner (H-STEP) Pilot study is gathering information on the characteristics and attributes of homeopaths and homeopathy students in Australia and New Zealand. This will give us information to develop a longitudinal study following homeopathy students through their study and into practice.
