Matty J on reckoning with his flaws as a partner

    23/03/2026 | 57 mins.
    Hello!

Today I’m joined by Matthew Johnson, better known as Matty J. Matty first rose to fame here in Australia on The Bachelorette, before stepping into the spotlight as The Bachelor. It was during this journey that he met the love of his life, Laura Byrne. Today, Matty and Laura are married with three beautiful daughters and are widely considered one of Australia’s most successful reality TV love stories.

In this conversation, Matty opens up about growing up in a big family and the strong influence of his mum. We talk about the “sliding doors” moment when he met Laura, and he shares honestly about the challenges he faced supporting her through the early stages of parenthood.

We also dive into more personal topics, including miscarriage, his close friendship with Ash from Two Doting Dads, and just how much he truly loves being a dad.

Maisie Peters on what it's like to open for Taylor Swift

    09/03/2026 | 39 mins.
    Hello!

Maisie grew up busking on the streets of Brighton and sharing her music on YouTube. In this conversation, we talk about how she eventually signed to Ed Sheeran’s label and how important that relationship has been for her over the past few years.

Maisie also chats about collaborating with Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg, choosing Benny Drama to play the heartthrob in the music video for her latest single My Regards, and how falling in love has influenced the lyricism on her new music.

Jamila Rizvi on why more women should be "difficult"

    02/03/2026 | 55 mins.
    Hello!

Today, I’m joined by Jamila Rizvi. Jamila is an author, public speaker, and Deputy Managing Director of Future Women, where she champions gender equality across Australian workplaces.

At just 31, and a first-time mum to her son Rafi, Jamila was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour. What followed were countless medical appointments, two brain surgeries, and 36 rounds of radiation. Today, the tumour is the size of half a grain of rice, a tiny physical reminder of a life-altering chapter that reshaped her perspective in profound ways.

In this episode, we also talk about building a career inside government at a young age, navigating ambition alongside motherhood, and the power of asking for help from friends and family during the hardest seasons of life.

If you'd like to support Jamila, head to the All About Women Festival on International Women's Day, this Sunday, the 8th of March.
