Kill By Kill: Talking Horror Characters One Death At A Time

Do you read Sutter Cane? Really? Name three albums! Sorry? He’s a fictional novelist who is in contact with the Elder Gods who wish to retake the Earth and subject us to their dark dominion? Someone should make a movie about that. They did?! It’s called IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS, and it’s a stone-cold John Carpenter classic that we’re covering this week with the help of TikTok’s own Mandi Bossard! Along the way, we dig into the extremely Hollywood backstory of the script, explore what Sutter Cane’s actual pathway to a Second Coming is, consider the astronomical cigarette budget for the movie, and dig into whether we’re watching the movie or if we’re watching the movie-within-the-movie! All this, plus Poison bassists, woman-written-by-man, spoil Backrooms hallways, H.P. Lovecraft roasts, ball-and-chains, and a very tentacle-filled edition of Choose Your Own Deathventure! We're only halfway through the remixed revisit of our coverage of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter,  and it's time to bring in an expert. That's right, this week we’re joined by film director Jeremy Kasten (The Wizard of Gore, Attic Expeditions) to learn what it’s really like to be on a movie set with Crispin Glover.
