What happens when we stop worrying about whether we're practicing Reiki correctly and begin trusting what we're actually experiencing? In this episode of Reiki Radio, I'm joined by my dear friend and fellow Reiki teacher, Gwen of My Spiritual Butterfly, for an open, honest conversation about our evolving relationships with Reiki, energy, intuition, and ourselves. We reflect on our early experiences as practitioners, including the pressure to follow every instruction perfectly, the uncertainty that can arise when our experiences differ from what we've been taught, and how years of continued practice have transformed our understanding of Reiki.

One of the things I appreciate most about conversations like this is the opportunity to recognize that learning Reiki is only the beginning. Our understanding continues to develop as we practice, question, explore, and become more familiar with how we’re in relationship with ourselves and our lives.

What if you approached your everyday life with the same curiosity, openness, and intention that you bring to traveling somewhere new? Think about how you prepare for a vacation. You may already be imagining what you'll explore, how you want to feel, and the experiences you're looking forward to having. You're setting a tone before you even arrive. Now imagine approaching your daily life with that same awareness.

How are you directing your mind? What frequency are you beginning your day in? What stories are influencing your expectations? How can your experiences change when you become more conscious of how you're choosing to participate?

We'll also explore why your daily energetic practice matters, even when you only have a few minutes. Your baseline influences how you meet people, situations, and opportunities that unfold throughout your day.

Then we'll move into our collective oracle reading, featuring four cards from The Energetic Alchemist Oracle: Challenge, Commitment, Nostalgia, and Liberator. Together, these cards bring our attention to relationships, agreements, familiar patterns, and the possibility of recognizing something that helps us move beyond old ways of responding.

There may also be opportunities this week to revisit something from the past, gain clarity around a relationship or commitment, or recognize where an old story has been influencing your present experience. And when something becomes clear, what will you choose to do with that recognition?

As always, take what resonates, remain curious, and remember that your energy, consciousness, and choices are part of how you experience this journey.

Happy October, beautiful alchemist! This month, we’re exploring the rhythm of relationship…and no, I’m not only talking about romantic relationships. We’re in relationship with everything! This includes our thoughts, emotions, bodies, environments, other people, past experiences, desires…and, of course, ourselves. One of the most interesting aspects of this is recognizing how we are in relationship to all of it.

In this month’s Energy of the Month, we explore the movement from Libra into Scorpio and what these energies can help us recognize about balance, harmony, transformation and the parts of ourselves we’re ready to understand differently.

I’m also sharing insights from the Threshold, Sun and Lemniscate cards, which are part of The Energetic Alchemist Oracle. While the cards help expand clarity around navigation, we’ll also consider the lemniscate as a higher expression of the scales. So, instead of trying to perfectly “balance” opposing sides, what happens when we learn to create coherence and movement between them? This is all a part of life expressed in motion, and October gives us plenty to work with!

We’ll look at the month’s astrology, relationships, emotional patterns, shadow, intuition, transformation and the opportunities we have to reclaim wisdom from what we’ve already experienced. If you’ve been noticing changes in yourself, relationships, or the way you’re responding to life lately, there may be more happening beneath the surface than you realize.
