This was a huge week for gear releases! We're talking about new guitars, including the Fender MIJ Hybrid II lineup, the Gibson Jake Kiszka SG, this year's Martin Biosphere acoustic, and a Bilt X JHS collaboration Revelator! And of course we have a ton of new pedals from Buzzing Bugs, Enduring Audio, EHX, Beetronics, Daredevil Pedals, Tsakalis, Walrus Audio, Mad Professor, and Strymon!! Phew, did I miss any?!

The obvious big ones are the new Fender Vintera III and Epiphone Futura lineups, followed by some great pedal drops including the Summer School Electronics Fuzz 101, Matthews Effects Cartographer MkII, a collaboration Fuzz Wah from Morley and DOD, FruitFX's Space Cube, and Diamond reissuing their long-discontinued phaser! We also discuss the latest Synergy Module based on the JCM 800 and Marshall released, of all things, a Sex Pistols 50th anniversary JCM 800 half stack!

This week's topic dives into the announcement from Mythos Pedals to wind down operations to a smaller team and switch from a dealer network to direct sales. This comes at a time where American small businesses and consumers are struggling with the cost of living and a constantly shifting economy. Is this a signal of what we can expect to see from other small and medium sized builders in the Musical Instrument space in the near future?
