Week 13 Picks + James Franklin gets a new job & it’s getting awkward with Lane Kiffin
FOX Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt makes his picks for the 2nd-to-last Saturday of the regular season. He begins by previewing the Big Noon Saturday on FOX game as #1 Ohio State take on Rutgers as the Buckeyes look to avoid a letdown the week before The Game. He then makes his pick in what he calls a de facto playoff game between USC and Oregon. Will Oklahoma keep things rolling in a ranked matchup vs Missouri? Klatt tries to make sense of 2 betting lines in big games this weekend before making his picks as #11 BYU takes on Cincinnati and #16 Georgia Tech looks to punch their ticket to the ACC Title Game in their matchup with Pitt.
Following his picks, Klatt reacts to the news that Virginia Tech has hired James Franklin and gives his thoughts on the hire. He finishes the show by breaking down the latest in the saga at Ole Miss as Lane Kiffin has yet to commit to the future there amid reported interest from Florida and LSU.

CFP Rankings Reaction: Is Notre Dame being protected? Do USC, Michigan & Texas have a path?
FOX Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt reacts to the latest set of College Football Playoff Rankings. He begins by discussing the Notre Dame-Miami conundrum as the Irish come in at #9 while the team that beat them in Week 1, Miami, sits at #13. He explains how the Committee is protecting themselves from a difficult conversation with those two teams with their rankings. Klatt then looks at the paths for 3 blue bloods: #15 USC, #17 Texas & #18 Michigan and explains how viable each path is should they win their final games. How high would USC jump with a win at Oregon this weekend? Would a win over A&M be enough to launch Texas back into the Playoff picture and would a 5th straight win over #1 Ohio State send the Wolverines into the CFP?

Georgia does it to Texas again, Michigan survives, Oklahoma exposes Alabama’s flaw & Klatt’s Top 15
FOX Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt reacts to a great Saturday of College Football as Georgia continued their recent dominance over Texas. Klatt explains why Kirby Smart and Georgia remind him so much of Dave Roberts and the World Series Champion L.A. Dodgers. He also weighs in on Texas’ Playoff hopes even if they are able to upset Texas A&M in two weeks and finish at 9-3. He then discusses Michigan’s wild win over Northwestern at Wrigley Field and how Wolverine fans should feel after the up-and-down performance. Klatt explains why he was so impressed by Oklahoma to go to Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama with Defense and Special Teams while exposing the Crimson Tide’s fatal flaw. He also gives credit to USC for finding a way to beat Iowa after facing a 14-point deficit in an Iowa-style game to continue the program's upward trajectory and push for a Playoff spot. Klatt then reveals his Top 15 instead of a Top 10 this week to show which teams he believes should be on the bubble for the College Football Playoff. He also explains his new ranking of Texas A&M following their 27-point comeback against South Carolina.

FOX Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt makes his picks for Week 12 of the College Football season. He begins by previewing the Big Noon Saturday game from Wrigley Field as #18 Michigan looks to continue their Playoff push vs Northwestern. He then makes his picks for two huge matchups in the SEC as #10 Texas faces #5 Georgia and #11 Oklahoma tries to upset #4 Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Klatt explains why #22 Pitt is uniquely suited to face a 9th ranked Notre Dame team with an explosive run game. He then considers the upset possibility in LA as #21 Iowa takes on a 17th ranked USC team that has Playoff hopes. Will Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss take care of business against Florida and can #12 BYU bounce back with a win over TCU?

CFP Rankings Reaction: Who actually controls their own destiny for the CFP?
FOX Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt reacts to the CFP Committee’s latest rankings. He gives his thoughts on the Committee’s decision to keep Indiana at #2 over Texas A&M after the Hoosiers’ dramatic win at Penn State. He also explains why Texas Tech jumping up to #6 puts them in a great position to grab a First Round bye. Klatt looks at the pathway for a 4th Big Ten team as USC comes in at #17 and Michigan at #18 with 3 games left. He then looks at the entire Top 25 and breaks down which teams actually control their own destiny to get to the Playoff – like Ohio State, Georgia and Alabama - and which still need some help or they will be sweating on Selection Sunday.Â
