Three Southlanders have been named in the New Zealand Under-20 rugby squad, Mika Muliaina, Jackson Hughan and Jay Reihana, with Jimmy Taylor a non-travelling reserve.
Rugby Southland's Head of Pathways, Liam Howley joins The Roar to talk through all four and the ins and outs of his role overseeing what seems to be an increasing talent base around the sport in the south.
Prior to that Logan, Nathan and Nick look at the big stories of the past week including Jacob Duffy's incredible IPL debut, Sithum Niluminda's compeition-winning spell for Invercargill Old Boys in the ILT Southland Premier cricket final, Brayden Inger's return to the Sharks for a sixth season and the Stag hierachy's blinder in locking in a third successive Stag Day at Rugby Park in August.
