Fresh off a shot out of the fescue on the 9th hole at Shinnecock Hills, Smylie Kaufman pops into the first hole bleachers to recap Thursday at the U.S. Open alongside Charlie Hulme.
Weather was the biggest factor in round one - in the form of a two-hour fog delay, and afternoon wind being less severe than expected.
