It was one for the ages as NXT had two major Tag Team Title matches, live on the USA Network. Imperium had a successful defense against Breezango, but not after the Fashionists mocked their opponents by entering the ring as “Emporium.” Meanwhile in the main event The WWE Womens Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated a very game Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart. Also, NXT GM William Regal set up a massive triple threat match for the North American Title next week, pitting Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor against the champion Keith Lee.

NXT comes to you from the Performance Center. With NXT Takeover: In Your House on the horizon, tonight’s action set the stage for the special event. Drake Maverick defied expectations to win his group in the ongoing NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship tournament. Johnny Gargano made short work of Adrian Alanis in an open challenge match. Charlotte Flair teamed up with a very game Chelsea Green defeated the team of Rhea Ripley and IO Shirai, when Charlotte pinned Shirai via leveraged pin. Also, Matt Riddle got put to sleep by Timothy Thatcher in a steel cage, with the Hall of famer Kurt Angle as the special referee!
