Where do you go to find hope? God has made us a promise that he is our future and our hope but how do we discern that from just wishful thinking?

Heath Adamson, Senior Vice President of Global Program at Convoy of Hope believes 'hope' is more than just a nice idea. The faith-based global relief and humanitarian organization has distributed over $3.1 billion in aid and served more than 300 million people around the world.

He's also the author of several books, including Grace in the Valley and Hope Breaks Through.

Adamson talks powerfully about the need for hope in our world and in this conversation explains why feeding the poor is not just a socio-economic idea but can help serve people who are spiritually poor too.

Pastor Wendell Vinson has been in ministry for over 40 years and he's still passionate that it can solve problems the world often simply can't. He's the co-founder and president of the non-profit CityServe Network, an organization that resources local churches to serve it's communities.

And they, he believes, are the best placed to do just that.
