How many times have we heard someone say—or perhaps said ourselves—“that person is so lucky”? It’s easy to feel jealous when we see others with the job, home, car, or lifestyle we wish we had. But jealousy is not the answer, nor is it the way we are called to live as Christians. • Accepting Who We Are- (Special Guest: Gary Schneeberger, Assistant to the President of Focus On The Family)
Each of us has been blessed by the Lord with unique talents and qualities, yet we all carry things about ourselves we may not love. These shortcomings are part of who we are—and learning to embrace them is essential to living in God’s truth. In this episode of Let Go and Let God,host Art Suriano shares the principle of“Accepting Who We Are.”As Christians, we are called to see ourselves as God sees us: His beloved children, created with purpose. Just as we accept and love our own children—or were accepted by our parents—we must learn to extend that same grace to ourselves.Tune in and discover why it’s so important to appreciate the gifts the Lord has given us, how to use them faithfully, and how gratitude can transform our perspective. With Art as your guide, you’ll explore how truly accepting who we are in Christ opens the door to renewed joy, confidence, and thankfulness.

  • Don’t Live in the Past- (Special Guest – Dr. Joe Hopkins, President of Campbellsville University)
It can be fun to watch sci-fi movies about time travel or films like Back to the Future, but the truth is, we cannot go back in time. More importantly, we can’t undo or relive parts of our past, no matter how much we might want to. When we can’t accept the present because of something we did that we regret or something that happened to us that we can't get over, we are living in the past, and that is not what our Lord wants for any of us. Tune into this episode of “Let Go and Let God” and let Art explain how life is a gift. As Christians, we must live each day to the fullest, but when we are upset about something we cannot move beyond, Jesus is there to help. Listen to this episode and discover the power of prayer, and how when we reach out to Jesus through prayer, there’s nothing He can’t help us with, and He always will.

  • Jesus Gives Us A Choice (Special Guest – Kevin Longino, CEO of The National Kidney Foundation)
When Jesus walked the earth over 2000 years ago, he performed numerous miracles and died for us on the cross. Many of the miracles he performed were done intentionally without any fanfare. In fact, Jesus often wanted the miracles he performed to be kept secret. When he died on the cross, we all know that as the Son of God, he could have prevented it at any time, but he chose not to. Why? Because Jesus’ purpose was to demonstrate just enough here on earth to give us all a choice. Do we believe in him or not? Tune into this episode of “Let Go and Let God,” and let Art explain the meaning of our Christian faith by accepting the choice we all need to make and by making the right choice. Listen to this episode and discover why Jesus' time on earth made complete sense, including why he died for us on the cross and what it truly means to be a Christian.
