Did most people review and unpack the incredible season that was 2025 in December... yes but BETTER LATE THAN NEVER RIGHT!

We wanted to wait for an in person recording to give the 2025 season the attention it deserved so join us as we unpack the highs and lows for ALL the teams and drivers over the course of a tumultuous season, give our awards for the year and look forward to what we are sure will be a VERY interesting 2026.

Welcome to Episode 50 of Lights Out with Ish & Eve

 

First of all, we’re back in the same ROOM! After what feels like forever the girls are BACK in the same room and it’s like we never left!

 

It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 months, 24 races, and 6 sprints since we sat down and made our 2025 predictions… but all that racing later… and it’s time to reflect on how well we REALLY know Formula 1…

 

We certainly had some hits and we DEFINITELY had some misses, but join us as we laugh, cringe, and look back on how much Ferrari delusion Ish had, how much Alpine hope Eve had, and much more…

Well after a season of twists and turns, we FINALLY have our newly crowned champion… But for a race that was supposed to be a showdown for the history… it wasn’t quite what we all hoped it would be.

 

That being said, there was still plenty to unpack from the ‘Decider in the Desert’ from Lewis’ continuing Ferrari struggles, to Yuki’s defence attempts, sky’s *cough* british *cough* commentary, and of course the championship celebrations.

 

So join us as we discuss the race weekend one last time for the year and dig into all the on and off track happenings of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The Qatar Grand Prix weekend was heading straight for being a snooze fest until Mclaren performed what could be the blunder of the season on lap 7, ultimately handing the race win to Max Verstappen.
