During his 45 years in prison, Michael Thompson became one of the few people to leave the white supremacist gang alive — and to testify against it. But is Thompson a gentle soul trapped by a broken system, or, as his critics claim, a master manipulator who can’t be trusted?

Blood Memory, a new series from Love + Radio, grapples with that question. Winner of the Best Independent Nonfiction Audio Award at the 2025 Tribeca Festival.
