At the center of it all stood the Garnett House Hotel, a location tied to figures from the Old West and a history shaped by movement, conflict, and change. Today, it’s known for something else—ongoing reports of paranormal activity that have drawn investigators to the site.
Among the most unsettling pieces of evidence are recurring EVP recordings capturing what sounds like a child’s screams—something that has been reported more than once and remains unexplained. A haunted dorm is one thing. A haunted balloon is something else entirely.
While attending a college famous for its paranormal reputation, a freshman encounters a strange clown unlike any performer at the carnival outside her dorm. Dressed entirely in black and gray, he silently hands her a single black balloon before disappearing into the crowd.
What follows seems harmless at first—until the balloon refuses to stay where it's placed.
Again and again, it drifts from the corner of the room and settles at eye level in the center of the dorm. Three roommates witness it. They move it. It comes back. Then another balloon in the room begins to change in ways none of them can explain.
Years later, all three still remember the same unsettling question: Was it just a balloon... or did something come back to the dorm with it?

Two brothers spent years wondering about the little girl they both saw as children.
