- Chris and Katie only needed the rental for a few weeks while their own home was being renovated. It wasn't perfect, but it would do. Their five-year-old son, Jack, settled in easily, and before long, the temporary house felt like home.
Except for the basement.
Neither parent particularly liked being down there, although they couldn't explain why. Jack had never even been allowed downstairs, so when he casually began talking about a man he saw near the basement, they weren't sure what to make of it.
At first, there seemed to be no reason to worry. Jack wasn't frightened. In fact, he talked about the man as though his presence were perfectly normal. But children sometimes notice things adults don't.
And before the family left that rental, Jack became very certain of one thing: whatever was downstairs, his father needed to stay away from it.

There are places in the American Southwest where time doesn’t just linger — it listens. Long before modern ghost hunting equipment and digital recorders, people sensed that certain locations held emotion so deeply that it refused to fade. Love, fury, betrayal, grief… these landscapes absorbed it all. And in those charged spaces, something seems willing — even eager — to speak back.
In this episode of The Grave Talks, we explore the evolving frontier of spirit communication with guests Dan Baldwin, Rhonda Hull, and Dwight Hull, whose work in the Old Southwest challenges long-held assumptions about what is possible. Through their experiences, we step into desert towns, abandoned homesteads, and historic battlegrounds where the veil feels thin enough to touch.
Whether through intuition, dowsing, or devices designed to capture the impossible, their encounters suggest that the dead do not always wait to be found — sometimes, they come looking for us. And once you hear their stories, you may rethink how alone we truly are.

📘 Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/RealGhostStoriesOnline/ - For months, a family heard slow footsteps crossing the upstairs hallway when no one was there.
They tried to explain them away. Then they brought in people whose entire purpose was to do exactly that. Some of the strange things in the house had ordinary causes. The footsteps did not.
One night, with everyone gathered downstairs, the sound began again above their heads. Slow. Heavy. Moving along the same path the family had described from the beginning.
And this time, there were witnesses.
What made it even harder to dismiss was what happened years later, when someone who knew nothing about the history of the house heard the exact same thing.
So who—or what—kept walking that hallway?

St. Albans Sanatorium is one of those places where the walls seem to hold their breath. Long before it became known for its hauntings, it was a boys’ school infamous for harsh hazing and unchecked cruelty—experiences that left their mark on the young men who lived there. The building later shifted into a psychiatric facility, collecting even more layers of trauma, fear, and loss.
Today, investigators describe St. Albans as a place that doesn’t just feel haunted… it feels occupied. The hallways carry a weight, as if watching to see who walks them. Rooms grow unnervingly quiet. Shadows linger longer than they should. And while no one is ever guaranteed an encounter, those who visit often walk away with the sense that something walked with them.
In this episode of The Grave Talks, we explore the unsettling history and lingering presence of St. Albans Sanatorium—where past pain, residual energy, and intelligent hauntings may all converge in one place. Some locations whisper their stories. St. Albans never seems to stop speaking.
