14/07/2026 | 57 mins.Send us Fan Mail
In today's episode, we enter the wedding halls of heaven. But how do sinners like us end up in the loving embrace of the spotless Lamb of God? How does the bride "prepare herself" and what are "her righteous deeds"? These are the topics discussed in today's episode.
REVELATION 19:6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his Bride has made herself ready;
8 it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
9 And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” 10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Apart from the Psalms, the book of Revelation has more songs then any other book of the Bible. These song, since they are all sung in heaven, and not on the earth, comprise what we might call "The Soundtrack of Heaven - Songs of Victory". This episode introduces us to this great theme.

About The Bible Unbound - Book of Revelation
Unravel with us, the profound and mysterious narratives that lie within the pages of the world's most revered text: The Bible.Our current series: The book of RevelationStatement of FaithThe Bible: We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).The Trinity: We believe in one eternal God, existing in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence, power, and glory (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).God the Father: We believe God the Father is the Creator and Sovereign Ruler of all things, perfect in holiness, justice, love, and mercy (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 103:19; Isaiah 6:3).Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary atonement for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory (John 1:1-14; Luke 1:34-35; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16).Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells, empowers, and guides them into all truth, and seals them for salvation (John 16:7-13; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:13; Acts 1:8).Humanity and Sin: We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience, resulting in spiritual death and total depravity. All people are born sinners, separated from God, and in need of salvation (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12).Salvation: We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift of God, not by works, secured through Jesus’ atoning death and resurrection. Repentance and faith are necessary for salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10).The Church: We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers, called to worship God, edify one another, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. The Church observes two ordinances: believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Ephesians 4:11-13).Sanctity of Life and Marriage: We believe human life is sacred, beginning at conception, and that marriage is a God-ordained covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s relationship with the Church (Psalm 139:13-14; Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:22-33).Resurrection and Judgment: We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved—those who are saved to eternal life with God, and those who are unsaved to eternal punishment in hell (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15).Second Coming: We believe in the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom, judge the world, and consummate God’s redemptive plan (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12-13).
