Today’s guest is Justin Huggett MG. Former Australian infantry soldier with 2nd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. Fourteen years in uniform. Deployments across East Timor, Solomon Islands, and Afghanistan.
Awarded the Medal for Gallantry after leading a counter-attack under heavy Taliban fire, taking control of a chaotic ambush and turning the fight.
Since leaving the military, he has stepped into the fight on a different front. Veteran advocacy. Mental health. Calling out the system where it fails soldiers once the uniform comes off. And most recently, starting The Grumpy Grunt Podcast.
Soldier. Leader. Father. And someone who has seen both sides of service, on the battlefield and after it.
This is a conversation about war, identity, fatherhood, and what it actually costs to serve.

Anthony ‘Harry’ Moffitt recently retired from the Australian Defence Force after almost 30 years, most of which was spent with Australia’s elite Special Air Service (SAS) Regiment as a Team Commander and Team Specialist.
He has completed 11 active service deployments, including being wounded in action in 2008. Harry completed his time with the SAS as its Human Performance Manager. 
He’s a Registered Psychologist and runs a human performance consultancy working with sports teams, the military and industry.
