In this week’s episode of The Radiant Life Podcast, I sit down with Alice Achan, survivor, visionary, and founder of the Te Kworo Foundation in Uganda.
Alice’s story begins in war-torn Northern Uganda, where she barely survived the violence of the Lord’s Resistance Army. After losing many family members—including her nieces and nephew to AIDS—she could have given up. Instead, she chose faith. Alice opened her home to young girls returning from abduction, helping them find restoration, education, and healing.
From that act of courage grew the Te Kworo Foundation, now serving over 1,100 girls with education, safe maternal health care for women, and a hospital currently under construction.
Alice’s testimony of faith, hope, and resilience will inspire you to believe that out of our deepest suffering, the most profound beauty can arise.
