We Like D&D

In our first episode of 2026, we share some fun new show & tell items including a sci-fi-themed heist system, two articles by Kelly’s favourite person in the world (Sly Flourish), and a solo journaling RPG (because the new year is a perfect time to start journaling!). We also build three different 5e characters based on Keanu Reeves characters, and Alec gives a most triumphant summary of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Finally, we finish off with our first 2 DMs 1 Player round of the year, and this time, it’s Alec’s turn to be the player… so you know there will be a little chaos!

In this episode, we talk about PvP on an island, 50 adventure hooks that are a bit out of the box, and a RPG where you attempt heists as three raccoons in a trench coat.
