Season 11 - Episode 12 - Finding Gratitude in All things

    23/03/2026 | 49 mins.
This week, I speak with Gayl Wright, who, from her log home bordering the woods, writes from her heart about life and faith. In 2024, she and her husband, Steve, celebrated their 50th anniversary. Daily, they enjoy reading together from the Bible and other books. They have seven children (one of whom is with the Lord) and 14 grandchildren. Gayl loves exploring creativity through writing, art, nature photography, and more. She loves coffee, tea, chocolate, and jeans; spending time with friends and family, time in nature, and visiting the beach. She has been a Sunday School teacher, church pianist, homeschool mom, temporary mom to foreign exchange students, online retreat speaker, and currently volunteers with Chronic Joy Ministry. Gayl is the author of Journey into Light: 31 Days Adventuring with God and Through A Glass, Darkly: Daily Hope in Light of Eternity. We look at her childhood up to the present to find the beautiful thread of Jesus in her life. You wonโ€™t want to miss this encouraging episode!

Season 11 - Episode 9 - Finding Gratitude in Reflecting Christ

    02/03/2026 | 53 mins.
This week, I speak with Danyelle Toll, who is a devoted Christian wife and proud mother of three who finds her greatest joy in loving Jesus and pouring into others. Born and raised in the south, Danyelle carries her southern roots with pride, bringing warmth, grace, and a touch of charm to everything she does. A passionate servant leader, Danyelle is actively involved in both childrenโ€™s ministry and womenโ€™s ministry, where she thrives in encouraging hearts and pointing others to Christ. Her love for Godโ€™s word and desire to uplift others inspired her to write her devotional, Jesus Fills My Cup. As a survivor of lupus and fibromyalgia, Danyelle lives each day with gratitude and strength, using her journey as a testimony for Godโ€™s love and faithfulness. She is a lover of prayer (her true love language), cute fashion, SEC football, good books, travel, and meaningful time spent with her family and friends. Danyelleโ€™s mission is simple: to reflect Jesus, offer hope, and remind others that His grace is always enough. We look at her childhood up to the present to find the beautiful thread of Jesus in her life. You wonโ€™t want to miss this inspiring episode!
