The Mastermind Behind The Norwegian Method - Arild Tveiten
Following the Ironman World Champs podium clean sweep by The Norwegian’s (Casper Stornes, Gustav Iden & Kristian Blummenfelt) we talk to Arild Tveiten, the man who started it all, built it all and without whom non of it would have happened. However there have been several tough times in the process, including Kristian & Gustav choosing to leave Arild’s program, money getting in the way of what they’d built together, Olav Aleksander Bu’s role in the program, Casper and Kristian/Gustav not training together for a couple of years before ultimately coming back together in 2025 and the group once again finding their way to the top of the world. This podcast is the first in a long time that we’ve done which isn’t just an interview; rather, it tells a story. And that story is a long, interesting, successful and at times difficult one.
