The non-negotiables for parents: forgive yourself, forgive your spouse, repent, ask your children for forgiveness, then start small. Reclaim the home. Read Nehemiah. Lock the gates back up. Jesus leaves the ninety nine for the one, every time, no matter how far gone the story sounds. Voodoo priests in Haiti. A woman deep in the Jewish faith. A man coming out of Islam. There is no floor to how far He'll go.

You can be doing something that looks good, sounds good, and gets applauded, and still be outside what God assigned you to do. John 15 says apart from the vine, it is nothing.
