A conversation with Andrew "DROID" Doheny_SLOBCRAFT

    27/08/2026 | 1h 34 mins.
Our guest this week is another Newport Beach standout who has carved his own path and always done things his own way!
He became a poster child for Volcom at a very young age, dominated the amateur and Pro Junior events, and appeared destined to become Southern California’s next surfing superstar. His surfing is calm, stylish, and effortless, but the end result is explosive, incredible speed, raw power, and massive tweaked-out blow-tail lip slides. But his creativity extends far beyond Surfing. He shapes boards and is one of the few Surfers to win professional contests riding his own shapes. He also plays guitar, formed a metal band, and creates Surf films.
Alcohol, drugs, and partying eventually took him down a dark path.  Fortunately, he got help, found sobriety, and with support from Dane Reynolds, earned a second chance as a Pro Surfer.
We’re huge fans, we’re stoked to see him thriving, and we can’t wait to hear about his wild journey.  Please welcome Andrew “DROID” Doheny, also known as SLOBCRAFT Surfboards to the show!

A conversation with Jordan "JORDY" Smith

    20/08/2026 | 1h 36 mins.
Our guest this week is one of the most influential and progressive surfers of the last two decades. Fresh off being inducted into the Huntington Beach Surfing Walk of Fame—congratulations! What an incredible honor, and one that's well deserved. He's also recovering from hip and knee surgery, which honestly comes as no surprise after years of launching massive airs and laying down some of the most powerful, progressive turns we've ever seen.
With 19 years on the Championship Tour, eight CT victories, and multiple Top 5 and runner-up finishes, he's put together one of the most impressive careers of his generation. His iconic film parts in Modern Collective, Stranger Than Fiction, and Bending Colours helped redefine progressive surfing, and he's still pushing the limits today. If you haven't seen his latest edits from South Africa and Réunion Island, you're blowing it! Head over to Stab Magazine or YouTube and check out some of the best free surfing on the planet. We're fired up to talk about his incredible career, life on tour, filming, recovery, and what's next. Please welcome to the show, Mr. Jordy Smith!

    A conversation with Jye Townend

    13/08/2026 | 1h 36 mins.
Our guest this week is an American-Australian who grew up right here in Huntington Beach, born into one of Surfing's most iconic families. As the son of the first-ever World Surfing Champion, Peter "PT" Townend, he was surrounded by the sport, culture, and industry from day one. But instead of simply following in his father's footsteps, he carved out his own impressive path, working in surf media and holding sales and leadership roles with Ocean & Earth, Rhythm, Surfline, and Boardriders, while also co-founding the popular Vacancy Coffee Bar. Taking advantage of his dual citizenship, he later moved back to Australia, earned his commercial pilot's license, and now flies professionally. We're stoked to hear his incredible journey. Please welcome to the show, Mr. Jye Townend!

    A conversation with Kanoa Hee-Jae

    06/08/2026 | 2h 24 mins.
Our guest this week is one of Korea's brightest rising stars in surfing. He's one of the few athletes competing at a high level in both the shortboard and longboard divisions. Last year, he captured the Siheung Korea Open Longboard title and backed it up with an impressive equal 5th-place finish in a QS 6000 event. He's also another talented student of WaveKi under Sensei Brad Gerlach, taking his surfing and competitive mindset to the next level.
It's incredible to see how much surfing has grown throughout the Asia-Pacific region, especially in Korea, with an emerging generation of world-class surfers, international events, and even the impressive WaveGarden Seoul helping fuel the next wave of talent. We're excited to hear about his journey, what it's like growing up in Korea's surf culture, and what the future holds for Korean surfing.
Please welcome to the show,  Kanoa Hee-Jae.

    A conversation with Grizz N Beezy_NICE N SWELL

    30/07/2026 | 1h 32 mins.
Our guests this week are one of Huntington Beach's hottest rising reggae bands, and they've been making serious noise on the local music scene over the last few years. Drawing inspiration from reggae legends while blending in influences from across the musical spectrum, their mission is simple, stay versatile, write killer music, and have a damn good time doing it. They've already shared the stage at the Sublime Festival in Portland,  a regular on Reggae Sunday’s at “SeaLegs”, and they just rocked the I FORGET Airshow After Party!  We're stoked to welcome to the show the boys from Nice and Swell!
