Our guest this week is a Surf industry pioneer who has spent more than five decades helping shape the sport and protecting the places we ride!
With roots in Long Beach, New York, he led his first successful fight for Surf beach access in 1970. After graduating from Fordham University, he headed to Sunset Beach, Hawai‘i, before landing a job at Surfing magazine, launching a nearly 30-year career, much of it as publisher.
He helped launch SIMA, supported Surfing’s journey into the Olympics through his work with the ISA, and earned a place in the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame. His dedication to protecting our coast also earned him Surfrider’s Wavemaker Award for his contributions to the successful Save Trestles campaign.
From Surf media and industry leadership to beach access and ocean conservation, this guy has given a whole lot back to Surfing, and we can’t wait to hear his stories!
We are pumped to welcome the one and only Bob “FILET” Mignogna to the show!

We also had the fortune of having another great Surfer, journalist, author, and former Pro-Surfer. 
He won Australian National Surfing Titles in 1979 and 1981 (and was runner-up in 1977).
He is also a founding member of the Newport Plus Surf Club (later Newport Boardriders) on Sydney's northern beaches alongside his brother Tom.
He was the editor of the iconic Australian Surf Magazine, Tracks. Later he became Editor-in-Chief for Surfing Magazine.
He is still in the media scene and has a podcast with Hannah Anderson,  “We Shouldn't Be Friends”.

Our guest this week was a Competitive Assassin before becoming one of the most prolific FREE SURFERS ever!! This former @wsl WORLD Surf League tour competitor was one of the few surfers able to challenge @kellyslater Kelly Slater for a World Title! He has won multiple tour events including the prestigious PIPELINE MASTERS! At the top of his game, a world title contender, had a controversial injury wild card vote that didn't go his way. It forced him to re-evaluate his priorities. With the support of his sponsors, his marketability, unbelievable talent, and unique style he still easily became one of the most successful surfers of all time. We welcome the modern day Gerry Lopez, Mr. Zen himself, and definitely one of our favorite surfers...... Rob "THE MOB" Machado!!!

Our guest this week is a former Pro Surfer from South Africa, but has called
Huntington Beach his home for the last 33 years! He is an incredible Shaper and
Craftsman making a variety of Boards, from performance, twins, longboards
and even the occasional knee board! He gets commissioned from Interior
Designers for Board wall art, he makes hand planes, and even built a 14’ paddle
board with his son for the Catalina crossing! When he isn’t shaping he loves to
fish, travel, surf, and rip the back out right points breaks! We welcome our

Our guest this week is a Amazing Surfer and Shaper with over 30 years of SHAPING experience. As a young ripper, he was sponsored, competing and destined to be pro. he had no problem getting custom boards. But something sparked his interest about Board Building and in 9 th grade he striped the glass off and re-shaped an old board. Over the next several years he fine-tuned his skills, shaping a lot of boards for himself, his brothers, friends, and eventually started his own label/company at the young age of 22. He was mentored from some of the best shapers in the world include the late great Ben Aipa. RIP, Dennis Jarvis of (Spyder Surfboards) and Bill Cilia of (Nirvana Surfboards). He also shapes for T&C Hawaii, and has a full service glass/shaping factory in Costa Mesa and continues to crank out amazing boards under his label Estrada Surfboards.
