- Our guests this week are one of Huntington Beach's hottest rising reggae bands, and they've been making serious noise on the local music scene over the last few years. Drawing inspiration from reggae legends while blending in influences from across the musical spectrum, their mission is simple, stay versatile, write killer music, and have a damn good time doing it. They've already shared the stage at the Sublime Festival in Portland, a regular on Reggae Sunday’s at “SeaLegs”, and they just rocked the I FORGET Airshow After Party! We're stoked to welcome to the show the boys from Nice and Swell!
- Our guest this week is from Newport Beach, where he made a name for himself dominating the NSSA ranks and charging The Wedge at an age when most kids were just learning to paddle out. For years, he's been one of the standout Surfers in the lineup and is widely regarded as one of Newport Beach's brightest hopes for the Championship Tour.
Over the past few seasons, he's been making a serious push on the WQS, and with the guidance of Brad Gerlach and WaveKi, his Surfing, strategy, and competitive mindset have reached a whole new level. Fresh off a huge victory at the Jack's Surfboards Pro in Huntington Beach just a couple of months ago, he's carrying major momentum into this season as he chases qualification for the Challenger Series.
We're fired up to hear about his journey, his game plan, and what it's really like chasing the dream at the highest level. Please welcome to the show, Mr. Parker Cohn. - Our guest this week emerged as a prominent figure in Skateboarding during the 90’s, captivating audiences with his innovative style and technical mastery in both Street and Transition skating. From legendary video parts in classics like Interface, Cinematographer, and many others, to decades of respected contributions to skateboarding culture, he helped shape the look and feel of modern street skating while earning the admiration of generations of riders.
But these days, his passion extends beyond Skateboarding. As the founder and owner of Aquillux Filtration Systems, he’s focused on helping families live healthier through premium whole-home water filtration and under-sink alkaline drinking water systems. Their systems are designed to soften and filter municipal water while restoring essential minerals to elevate pH levels for cleaner, healthier, and better-tasting hydration.
From Skateboarding and Surfing to Entrepreneurship and clean water, we’re looking forward to covering it all with a true original.
We welcome to the show Mr. Dan Rogers. 🌊🛹💧 - Our guest this week is one of the most recognizable and fiercest competitors the sport of Surfing has ever seen. He turned Professional at just 14 years old and quickly built a reputation for charging hard, Surfing with incredible power, and refusing to back down from anyone in a jersey. Along the way, he stacked up major victories, including the OP Pro and the iconic Bells Beach Pro, cementing his place among Surfing’s elite. Growing up in Newport Beach, he was surrounded by the sport thanks to his father, legendary shaper Lance Collins of Wave Tools Surfboards, whose factory was a magnet for many of the biggest names in Surfing. We’re pumped to hear the stories behind an incredible career and welcome to the show Mr. Richie “SKELETOR” Collins.
