SASQUATCH THEORY

In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I welcome back Ray Howard from Kentucky for Part 2 of his terrifying encounters. Many viewers may remember Ray from his previous interview where he described being thrown from a horse and claiming he was protected by a female Sasquatch deep in the wilderness. But Ray says his experiences didn’t stop there. In August of 2020, Ray traveled with his wife to the mountains of Chiapas, Mexico, where they were staying with family members while ministering and praying for local people in the area. Almost immediately after arriving, Ray noticed something was very wrong.

Family members began suffering horrific nightmares involving strange creatures. Ray and his wife also experienced overwhelming fear, intense spiritual oppression, and disturbing dreams unlike anything they had ever encountered before. Strange figures appeared around the property and then vanished without explanation. Ray describes hearing voices warning him not to eat or drink certain foods being offered to them. As the days passed, Ray learned that a woman in the area was allegedly involved in dark Mayan witchcraft and occult practices. According to Ray, local churches wanted nothing to do with her because disturbing events seemed to follow wherever she went.

Ray says ancient books connected to Mayan spells and shape-shifting rituals were discovered, including teachings about transforming into animals. The activity escalated after Ray attempted to pray over an elderly family member. A woman known as Tia Romero reportedly became aggressive and tried to stop Ray from praying. Ray claims her eyes turned bright red and she moved with unnatural speed. That night, the nightmares and supernatural activity intensified around the property.

Before leaving for the airport, Ray says he encountered Tia Romero one final time. After rebuking her in the name of Jesus Christ, Ray claims the woman bent backwards and transformed into a massive Dogman or werewolf-like creature with glowing red eyes, enormous claws, and a deafening growl powerful enough to shake the air around him. Ray believes what he witnessed was connected to demonic forces, portals, and ancient occult practices tied to the region. His story raises disturbing questions about the relationship between cryptid creatures, supernatural entities, and spiritual warfare. Tonight, Ray shares the full story.

In this episode, I interview Josh from central North Carolina near the Uwharrie National Forest. Josh shares several terrifying encounters involving Sasquatch activity, strange vocalizations, tree structures, wood knocks, mysterious lights, and even sightings of a black metallic craft over the forest. He describes hearing something massive moving through the woods like a bulldozer snapping trees and limbs apart, witnessing multiple creatures watching from the trees near a lake, and seeing a huge red and gray Sasquatch stand up behind a tree while hunting with his grandfather. Josh also talks about strange activity around his current property including wood knocks outside his house, lights shining through his windows, bent trees blocking hunting trails, and a terrifying encounter near his camper where a creature suddenly took off into the darkness.

His daughter also witnessed a Sasquatch crossing the road. Josh believes these beings can cloak, blend into their surroundings, and may even appear after people begin discussing them or researching the phenomenon. In this episode, I speak with John, a law enforcement officer with SWAT and search-and-rescue experience, who shares two intense encounters from the Blue Ridge Mountains along the Virginia/North Carolina border. After purchasing a thermal device for work, John witnessed a massive heat signature moving low to the ground near his home at night. What he initially thought might be a person quickly turned into something far more disturbing—a 7-foot-tall creature with long arms, powerful build, and behavior unlike anything human.

The encounter escalated as the being stood upright, tracked John’s movements, and moved through the woods with speed and precision. John describes feeling targeted, hearing what he believes was telepathic communication, and watching the creature react to both thermal imaging and direct light. A second encounter in October 2023 while camping with his family brought things even closer—this time involving multiple witnesses, firearms drawn, and a creature moving between trees before retreating toward an old structure and later striking the house.

These incidents raise serious questions about intelligence, behavior, and the possibility of something operating just beyond what we understand in the forests of the Blue Ridge.

Jeff from Dent County shares multiple encounters that began when he was just 14 years old, growing up on a farm near Salem.

In broad daylight, after his dogs began acting strange, Jeff came face to face with a 7-foot-tall, jet-black creature standing upright near the tree line. The figure appeared to hide behind a tree, swaying back and forth as if it had been caught off guard. The moment quickly turned intense, his dogs went silent, the atmosphere felt off, and the two locked eyes for several minutes. After grabbing his shotgun and firing a warning shot, the creature responded with a loud, unnatural vocalization.

Jeff describes feeling a strange physical sensation during the scream, something he believes may have been infrasound. The creature then turned and ran, snapping branches and shaking the ground with its weight as it moved through the woods. Years later, while working nights along Highway 32 in the Mark Twain National Forest, Jeff encountered another massive figure in his headlights—one he believes may have thrown something at his vehicle.

In 2023, both Jeff and his wife heard a loud, piercing scream in the same area where his encounters began, something neither of them could explain. These experiences span years, locations, and conditions—but all point to something large, aware, and unexplained moving through the forests of southern Missouri. In this episode, I’m interviewing Andrew from California—an author who once approached Bigfoot with complete skepticism. That changed after a late-night encounter along Highway 152 near Casa de Fruta. While driving, Andrew spotted a massive, human-like figure roughly 100 feet away. He describes it as broad and powerful—like “two refrigerators side by side”—with long arms, a football-shaped head, and dark brown matted fur. Its eyes reflected a silver-white color in his headlights, and its structure resembled a massive primate, not any known animal.

Years later, Andrew returned to the same region near Henry W. Coe State Park, where the activity continued. During multiple camping trips, he and his family experienced bipedal footsteps, strange clicking sounds similar to something mechanical or “predator-like,” heavy breathing near their camp, and unexplained orbs moving through the night sky. He also recounts hearing a distinct whoop call near Tule River Indian Reservation—an area known for deep history and remote wilderness. This is a detailed account of repeated encounters in a region that doesn’t get much attention—but might deserve a closer look.
