SASQUATCH THEORY

John from Canada returns to Sasquatch Theory for Part 2 of his extraordinary story and shares even more strange experiences from the Canadian wilderness. During one incident, John came across a terrified park worker crouched down with bear spray. The worker had noticed unusually large rocks along the road and believed a massive creature was following him through the woods. On another occasion, John was swimming with a group when they began hearing strange vocalizations and whistles coming from the surrounding forest. As the years passed, John continued hearing unexplained sounds and experiencing unusual activity in the wilderness.

John also met numerous people who claimed to have experienced Sasquatch encounters of their own. Interestingly, some of their stories came from the same areas where John had already experienced unexplained activity. But John’s story eventually becomes even stranger. While riding his bike, John describes feeling as though something he couldn’t see was chasing him. He also recounts an experience involving missing time and claims that he somehow found himself transported to another location without understanding how he got there. What was John encountering in the forests of Canada? Could some of these experiences be connected, or are there more conventional explanations? In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview John about a series of strange Sasquatch encounters that began while he was serving in the Navy in 1987. John was driving down the road when he noticed an unusual fog beginning to roll into the area. As he continued driving, an enormous hairy creature—estimated to be around eight feet tall—suddenly walked in front of his vehicle. John said the creature reminded him of Chewbacca from Star Wars, and the experience stayed with him for years. But John's encounters didn't end there. During another experience, John believes he encountered a group of Sasquatch that began throwing rocks in his direction.

John is also a drummer, and at one point he decided to play drums in an area where he believed the creatures were present. To his surprise, he began hearing what sounded like rock clacks coming back from the woods in response. Were the rock clacks simply a coincidence, or was something deliberately responding to the rhythm of John's drums? Join me as John shares his experiences and describes what he believes has been interacting with him from the forest.

Dan joins me from Michigan to share a lifetime of unsettling encounters that took place near his family's remote cabin surrounded by the forests of northern Michigan near the Au Sable region. The property was originally owned by Dan's grandmother and became a place where the family spent countless weekends hunting, fishing, and exploring the wilderness. Everything changed during a bow hunting trip when Dan heard what he describes as one of the most horrifying screams he has ever experienced. The scream sounded like a woman being tortured and was so powerful he could actually feel the vibration through his body.

Terrified, he immediately left the woods and returned to the cabin. That would only be the beginning. Dan later witnessed a massive reddish-brown, Bigfoot-like creature crossing a roadway before disappearing into thick timber. He also recalls repeatedly encountering an overwhelming foul odor while walking the lonely mile-long road to the mailbox, causing him to question what might have been watching from the surrounding forest. A close friend also experienced a remarkable sighting, observing what appeared to be a Sasquatch for nearly fifteen minutes as it moved from an open field into dense woodland.

To add even more mystery, the family cabin was eventually broken into while they were away. Although it could have been the work of a bear, Dan has always wondered if something else may have been responsible. Join us as we discuss remote wilderness, strange vocalizations, unexplained odors, eyewitness sightings, and the mystery that continues to surround the forests of northern Michigan.

On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Cynthia from Tahlequah in the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. What started as strange owl-like calls echoing through the forest eventually turned into years of terrifying activity surrounding her secluded property. Cynthia describes repeated incidents of rocks being thrown near her chicken coop, a powerful odor unlike anything she had ever smelled, and an overwhelming feeling that something was watching her from the woods.

Friends and visitors experienced similar activity, including another witness who had rocks thrown at him while watching over her property. He also shares his own terrifying Sasquatch encounter from years earlier that forever changed the lives of both him and his girlfriend. As time passed, Cynthia began losing chickens, peacocks, and guinea fowl under mysterious circumstances. Then she discovered something that frightened her more than anything else—large dirt-and-rock mounds mysteriously built inside her chicken coop while she was away at work.

The mounds appeared to have been intentionally constructed, with feathers from her missing birds carefully placed into the packed dirt. Even more puzzling, the dirt and rocks did not originate from the coop or the immediate area. Looking back on her childhood, Cynthia recalls strange experiences involving rocks and corn being thrown at her, hearing heavy breathing outside her home, and sensing an overwhelming dark presence that she never forgot. Could all of these experiences be connected?

Joe from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has spent most of his life hunting and fishing the forests of the Appalachian Mountains. In 2017, while leaving the woods just before a snowstorm, he noticed a strange triangular figure standing on a hillside. As he cautiously approached, the shape seemed to change, revealing what looked like two large black eyes staring back at him.

Years later, while bow hunting the same mountain, Joe's encounters became much more intense. He describes hearing enormous footsteps circling his tree stand, strange grunts, loud wood knocks, and repeated tapping sounds that followed him through the forest. During one unforgettable encounter, Joe came face to face with a mysterious creature peeking from behind a tree. He describes a being with smooth facial skin, long human-like lips, enormous black eyes, hair surrounding the face, and a distinctive cone-shaped head.

Joe returned to the same location week after week, and the strange activity continued. He believes the creature often watched him while he hunted and even made unusual vocalizations whenever deer appeared nearby. The encounters escalated even further when Joe witnessed what he first believed was an enormous black bear. Moments later, he realized it wasn't an ordinary bear at all. Standing eye-to-eye with the massive creature, he noticed an unusual bright white triangular marking on its chest before it suddenly disappeared into the forest. In another astonishing experience, Joe says he watched a massive creature charge and attack a black bear with such force that he could actually feel the impacts through his tree stand.
